Check out the Waxman Update thread. We can assume for 100% that Waxman is not involved in this. He even tells that after the tour Steven is joining him again for some new movie ideas. He doesn't know about this movie.

Unfortunately there are still no news around....

I think Ferretti is on Facebook but I don't know if it's ok if I contact him there and ask him if he has some infos?

Benjamin Sacks don't know about the movie neither.

Also no announcements on any production site so far...Hannibal for example already lists some other movies in pre-production, but no word about this so far.

I hope this is a real Seagal action movie...

I think Seagal was just saying things before they were even confirmed. Remember when he said he starts shooting Prince Of Pistols? I think this "Foreign and Domestic" movie is a dead project.

Thanks for your effort Martin!

Yup, it was mentioned at Vern's SeagalFest:

http://www.outlawvern.com/2014/06/20/verns-cinefamily-journal/

Editor Robert A. Ferretti, who worked with Seagal on Out for Justice, Under Siege and On Deadly Ground - as well as Out for a Kill, Today You Die and Mercenary for Justice, is doing "Foreign and Domestic" with him next.

It's quite a good title, but I'm guessing it might be rephrased/changed for foreign audiences, as it comes from quite a specific saying "all enemies, foreign and domestic", which - and I don't know - may not be translated directly into foreign equivalents. Honestly, I think it's a bit smart for a Seagal title (as in, the Studios he works with prefer dumb titles) so I suspect it'll get renamed Enemy Kill, or A Dangerous Kill, or A Good Kill or some stupid sh*t like that.

How trustworthy is outlawvern's site ???? It seems like no one is attached to this project so it might just be an idea they had and then scrapped it. At the same time didnt Keoni Waxman say that him and Seagal have agreed to meet and talk about new projects right after Seagal gets back from his tour ?? So if that is the case Seagal will not be working on F&D if he is about to plan something new with Waxman.

It seems no one knows about this project. It probably is a project that Seagal really wants to do, and he is just shouting that he WILL do it. He did that many times before...

Just check the interview from the Duisburg Planet Hollywood opening. he doens't know anything about his new movies. He doesn't even know anything about his new movie Absolution. Hell, he doesn't even know what A Good Man is about.....

Did you have to mention BD, I was so happy I didn't remember that....now I do again. The only decent thing about that movie was the music and even that wasn't to great.

Peace
I quite enjoyed BLACK DAWN, but it suffered from having no Seagal fight scenes (I counted one 'neck chop' ....and the rest were bad stunt doubles)

From Mr. Waxman:

Yes there is talk of 'Foreign and Domestic' when Steven returns. I am not involved with that project but I hear it is shooting in Alabama. Steven wants me to focus on putting together a project for him in Asia for our next collaboration so we would be doing that right afterward.

This is a long shot I know but could FAD be http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2103237/

1.Its filming in Alabama in August
2.Its a Hannibal Pictures film
3.McTiernan was involved with Pellicano like Seagal
4.The plot of Red Squad could easily be called Foreign and Domestic
5.Its said to have an Ensemble cast(I read that there are 7 main people in the mercenaries team on the script) and maybe Seagal will take a support role

Its just a guess but it would be nice to see Seagal work with a legend director like that

That would be cool. There was a thread a couple of weeks ago where some member mentioned that Steven would film his own kind of Expendables movie....Maybe it's this.

But I don't get my hopes up. We just have to wait and see. I will believe it when I see set pictures.

Without sounding cruel, they seem to be lining up some A-listers for RED SQUAD. I can't quite see Seagal teaming up with Nicolas Cage or Colin Farrell.....Can you?
