Isn't he making a cameo in CYBORG NEMESIS?

I'm not too sure about that.

Albert Pyun posted a teaser of a poster for the movie that clearly had Seagal in it even though you couldn't see his face.

Then he says something about how good Seagal is in the role which made it sound like it's already filmed.

Then he talks about how he's going to screen Cyborg: Nemesis at some film festival, but it turns out that he only screened like 12 minutes or something.

He first posted the trailer online well over a year ago, and it looks very, very low budget.

To be honest I don't think the film has been even shot yet, even though Albert makes it seem so. I think he filmed some footage, which he used in the trailer and in that short clip he screened.

I wouldn't put too much weight behind what Albert says these days. He's also producing two different movies taking place in France for the sole purpose of trying to get Van Damme to star in them. First was Napoleon, and now he says they start filming a movie called Algiers in January.

We'll see.

A good example of this is Universal Soldier Day of Reckoning, it was a polarizing movie

It was indeed....I thought it was utter crap and a bad example of STV making

It was directed by someone who thought he was making a thought provaking film for the critics when infact he was making a cheap STV sequal with Van Damme and Dolph

I know a few people arnt keen on Waxman but he at least makes straight forward action films that are easy to follow...to many STV directors now try and make complicated films and ive seen alot of STV films that are similier to for instance The Foreigner which is never a good thing

That said your point about the same film over and over again is fair and id like to see Seagal return and do something like DTK which i liked and played to his strengths while being something a bit different

Seagal needs to do more supporting parts in bigger movies as a bad guy. His parts as a good guy samaritan are getting really boring.

There is no *lack* of news, this movie has just been announced so it will be a while before we get some news on it..

Steven Seagal and Byron Mann team up again FTW!!! This new movie looks much better than "A Good Man". I really did not like AGM at all. The last Seagal movies that I really loved were "The Keeper" and "A Dangerous Man". Byron Mann also starred in ADM & "Belly of the Beast". Seagal and Mann make a great team!!

Better than nothing.

Great Job DiDa; thumps up! Can't wait to hear from him or Mr. Waxman about it again. Next year ABSOLUTION.

That´s bullshit. It´s a C-movie like the ones he did for 14 years. Nothing special. You can´t hardly see the fight scenes because of the editing. That was in his first five movies totally different.

Looks like crap. They really did a hatchetjob in the editing room and that trailer is pieced togheter so bad that it looks like a fan trailer. And the fight scenes is one huge mess (once more). All in all it looks like the usual shit, no surprise there.

Yeah that was the first thing i noticed to. The one and only thing I'm always focusing on is the fight scenes, and the camera angles didn't look that good, but I've seen much worse in Kill Switch, Black Dawn and Ticker. The production in itself, besides the fight scenes, looks really good though.

Seems strange that the Official Japanese trailer is released before the Official American trailer.

Many thanks for the Japanese trailer! It looks very entertaining. I am curious, why the Japanese receive the movie as Satellite TV premiere on February 21st. They can celebrate the movie premiere, long before April as Mr. Waxman annouced.

@JoshStern
One fair question to you: will you ever quit? You are by now constantly mockering, blaming, insulting. Stop here and right now! If you don't like Seagal efforts anymore, leave now! Yes, I am angry with you since you constantly show no signs of respect and honor for a very, very long time.

Do yourself a favor, please. As one of the truly long-term member of this forum, you are the only one who behaves like someone really stupid.
I am refusing to believe that you are that stupid. So either you leave or you behave rationally and analyze more carefully.

You won't change Seagal, nor will I nor will somebody else. It is Seagal who can change. Take your words to Seagal himself and convince him. You have my support in this regard. One time enough is enough. Think about it. :yinyang
