Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm premiered the first teaser trailer for director J.J. AbramsStar Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens back in November of 2014. Several actors who starred in the original Star Wars film trilogy (released from 1977-83) will show up in Abrams’ movie, but for the first teaser the focus was put squarely on new additions to the franchise characters played by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Oscar Isaac, to be exact.
The second Force Awakens trailer, however, will reportedly change that, and include footage of Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford reprising their beloved roles as (respectively) Leia Organa/Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo. It’s also possible such fan-favorites as C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), and R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) will pop up in the trailer, in turn marking the first canon appearance for all six of the aforementioned characters together in a film since Return of the Jedi over thirty years ago.

Latino Review is the site behind this news, and has also confirmed (via a reliable source) that, as many have suspected, the second Force Awakens teaser will be attached to the Disney-backed Marvel Studios sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron this upcoming May… in the U.S., that is. Those filmgoers across the pond may well get to see the second Force Awakens trailer on the big screen first (since Age of Ultron opens in countries like Australia in late April) – after the teaser drops online for everyone to watch, no doubt.

When will we see a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer? Mark May 1st on
your calendars, if you haven’t already. We’re hearing that the new trailer for J.J. Abrams’ highly anticipated sequel is definitely attached to every copy of Avengers: Age of Ultron that will play in theaters, giving it a guaranteed massive audience. Of course, Disney owns both Marvel and Lucasfilm so this is was an obvious place for the next trailer to play (and at the beginning of the summer movie season, no less), but if there were any doubts, those can safely be put to rest.

The new trailer will first premiere at the Star Wars Celebration convention, which runs from April 16th to 19th, and Age of Ultron’s international release starts rolling out on April 22nd, so the question is when Disney/Lucasfilm will decide to put the Star Wars trailer online to avoid a low-quality version hitting first. Will they put an HD version of the trailer online immediately or shortly after it premieres at Star Wars Celebration, or will they want to give those in attendance a short “exclusive” window before it goes wide to audiences across the globe? If Disney’s approach to the teaser trailer launch was any indication it will likely be the former, but we can’t say for certain.
We can, however, confirm that fans will absolutely get to see it on the big screen in front of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Marvel’s The Avengers had a whopping $207.4 million opening weekend domestically and went on to gross over $1.5 billion worldwide, so Age of Ultron is just about the biggest theatrical platform of the year with which to launch this new Star Wars trailer. Could it provide our first looks at Harrison Ford and the Original Trilogy trio back in costume? Luckily we don’t have too long to wait to find out.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18th.

Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a STAR WARS nerd :p :D But even for us SW nerds there are boundaries in the STAR WARS universe that should not be crossed. This, is one of them.. ;);)

Disney
makes it official that Boba Fett survived the Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi:

http://www.flickeringmyth.com/2015/...rvived-the-sarlacc-in-return-of-the-jedi.html
April 19, 2015 by Gary Collinson.

He’s the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy, and one of the most popular characters in the entire Star Wars universe, so being inadvertently knocked into the jaws of the Sarlacc by a blinded Han Solo is certainly no way to go.
Unless you’re a fan of the Expanded Universe, the fan favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett has held the distinction of suffering the weakest death in the entire saga ever since his demise in 1983’s Return of the Jedi, But it looks like Disney has wasted little time rectifying that, with
the reveal trailer for the video game Star Wars Battlefront seemingly confirming – in official canon – that Fett did survive his encounter with the Sarlacc.
