    Well, I can eat a whole pie and not gain an ounce.My friends look at a pie and gain!!

    Maybe I am lucky? Don't know? But if I don't eat right for a few days, I can lose weight real quick.

    And it is stuff that has alot of calories.

    Martin, when I first came to the USA my english was very limited, but I could understand more then I could speak.

    And once I quit thinking in german( and then translating it in english) my english got so much better.I also tried to read everything I could get my hands on it and listening to the radio,tv. And every new word I learned I looked it up in the dictionary and knew how to spell it and use it.

    Now my english is "almost" perfect and if I wouldn't have an accent you wouldn't know I wasn't born here.

    Of course the fastest way to learn a new language is to go to that country and live there.That's how I learned english, because nobody spoke my language(german).

    I speak english and german.I always wanted to learn how to speak french.I love that language!!:)
