Here we have the first review for Beyond The Law from The Action Elite

3/5 (not bad)

https://theactionelite.com/beyond-the-law-2019-review/

Indeed not bad, but let's note that is mainly to other factors then Seagal and DMX that this is getting a good rating.

Having read this review and looking at the trailer one more time i'm sticking to my initial thought of skipping this one all together.

The 2 reviews posted above make the film sound better than it is...
just watched it last night...I would D/L it before spending money to go to the cinema
(if you can even find it) or even buy the DVD.
---
Seagal does stand up at the very end of the movie and has that brief fight scene (if you can call it that)
actually it's just a pistol dis-arm move..both Messner and Seagal mumble their lines thru out the whole film(glad I had sub titles)
and the Louisiana accent Seagal uses is getting old...I thought he would be using the Rusian accent at this point.
--
it is nice to see DMX getting work inbetween jail sentences

I thought this movie was alright but pretty forgettable to be honest. I like the idea of Seagal as a mob boss but he doesn't do all that much in the movie. Not a lot of action but the bits in there were ok. It's worth a watch but I doubt I will add this to my collection.

Must be pretty forgetable considering only about 3 of us have actually watched and posted about it.
