MY Sister
She had to come up from the bottom of the grill (two holes there) and I guess adding more and more hay. I wonder how she is going to sit on the nest and lay eggs? There's a grate inbetween!!! I will keep a close eye and take pics when she lays eggs.

Hello My Sister
For 3 days now I have heard a different bird sound and each time I look out my back door window there sits a grackle sitting on my BBQ grill with hay in it's mouth. Didn't really pay to much attention to it. Well today I didn't here her sooooo I looked all around the grill and decided to lift up the hood and low and behold there was a nest inside, if I can fiqure how to download the pic to my album I let you know. LOL never had this happen to me before. Hope your children have a happy day hunting eggs tomorrow.

Yes My Sister today all went right with world
I didn't tell you what kind of hawk I saw yeaterday it was a monsterous Northern Goshawk. They usually don't come to Ky. With the storms here Sister Wind sent it to me. This morning on my way to my parents I looked over to a field and saw my Red Tail and I knew everything would be alright. So to day one of the Dr's that wouldn't do the paperwork changed his mind and now he will. I appricate your interest and information but only a Dr. can do this. On the ninth the moon will be full and I will do a cermony to thank the 4 winds for their help. You have a blessed day today.

Today in the 40"s but still breezy. Not the best day for me, been on the phone trying to get a Scooter for my Father so he can get around. It seems that 2 of his Dr's don't do paper work for this type of thing.???? go figure??? And his Insurance will cover it 100% I mean after all he's 93 years old and his legs are giving out but his mind is still very strong, he remember things I have forgotten LOL. So just as I was getting down in the dumps driving home, the biggest Hawk I have ever seen was sitting on the telephone wire. I said a prayer to the Great Spirit Mother Earth and felt better. I will leave this up to her to guide the Dr's to the path that is to be taken.

Just looking at the picture gallery and downloading a few pics. Susie has some great pics. How does she get them?? Hope she finds some more soon, so I can add them to my collection. Temp dropped 40 degrees today very nasty outside today. Stayed home and worked around inside of house. Birds weren't out today. Will be alittle warmer tomorrow hope so.

Weather was nice today got alot done. They have just put out Tornado watches until 9.00pm. Hope they go around me. I am ready for these April Shower to end. This morning I saw my Red Tail. Stopped and admired his soaring and said a Mother Earth prayer. Now if Father Sky will cooperate tomorrow I can get the rest of my land mowed. Childern are a wonderest thing in ones life. They say the right things at the right time when we need a pick me up. An Indian saying-- If a child falls into the rapids the one who finds them will share the rest of their life with them.
May the Great Spirit Mother Earth let you walk amongest her wonderest world.

Yes, today I saw a Cooper hawk and I have many red wing black birds. I too lead a busy life taking care of both my parents. We are gettng ready to have a very bad storm here tonight so can't stay on net to long. Have a blessed night and may the Great Sprite Mother Earth fill your heart with song.

It's nice to have a sister on this website. My Father's side is Shawnee and my Mother's side is Cherokee. I too love the outdoors and my favorite bird (as is my Father's) is the Red Tail Hawk. They fly all around my home here in Kentucky. I know when I'm going to have a great day when I see them flying around. My favorite film is On Deadly Ground also. It will take me a little while to learn how to use this website, never belonged to one before and not the greatest on the computer. Please bare with me.

Hi Stacy, Thank you fort the comment on my page. I have worked and saved more animals than I have let die. They have been a passion for me since I was young and I continued into it through the years. When other thought an animal had no hope of living, I would what I was doing to thr side and work with that animal. A lot of the times it just took patients, love and care, but I did dave those that thought were not going to make it. I'm also part of the Audobon Society. So yeah I love my animals. Please don't be offended, but I'm not to much of a religious person. I more Agnostic cause I really don't know. I'm sorry. Thanks for the comment again and I will let my wife know. Oh 1 more thing. I have now been sober for 14 years.
