I believe there is a deleted scene on the DVD showing his wife getting killed in the carjacking, which would have been nice to have included in the film.

He did smoke a cigar in Absolution (that's what I was referring to earlier, that came to mind immediately) but of course, at 3am when I'm lying in bed it dawns on me that he also smoked in On Deadly Ground.

I meant to ask, aside some of his later movies where his character might be a bit more refined and partake in a cigar, was Half Past Dead the only film to show his character as a smoker? I couldn't recall seeing him with a cigarette in anything else.

He does get a good amount of screentime and there's only a couple noticeable use of doubles. I still laugh at the scene with Ja Rule trying to teach him how to say "aiiiiiight".

Today You Die was rather enjoyable, I thought there was some good levity and humor throughout. He and Treach had good chemistry as well and their bantering was fun.

I like Black Dawn, and though I wish Seagal did do a couple fights (or something physical like that), I did think he was more invested in acting here and did alright. It's a surprisingly watchable movie that I enjoy.
