    R.I.P Steven in Executive Decision

I have had "Executive Decision" sitting around as part of my "Steven Seagal Collection" blu ray set for about 4 years or so, and finally got around to watching it last night. The main reason why I didn't race to watch it is because apparently Steven is only in the first 10 minutes (naturally I...

New youtube video Seagal with Jesse Enkamp

These two videos are certainly giving Seagal some belated martial arts cred, which is good! Lots of positive comments on youtube.

    Half Past Dead 20th Anniversary

It's fun enough, and the commentary is of some interest on the DVD/blu ray.

    Kill Switch - Reviews

I watched this just now for the first time. I think we've got about 3/4 of a good movie here. It's a shame that several/many of Steve's films from this period have been screwed around with and will most likely never be able to be "redeemed."

Code Of Honor - Steven Seagal, Craig Sheffer (completed)

    Not a bad idea!

Code Of Honor - Steven Seagal, Craig Sheffer (completed)

I watched this for the first time last night. I enjoyed it. A good role for Seagal, being able to creep in the shadows, not having to move around quickly except for the stunt double at the end who jumps through the glass pane. It was perhaps 10 minutes too long but it was well-acted, had a...

    Dear Steven Seagal

I'm not sure Mr. S will get your message mate, but I'm glad you got it off your chest!

    Steven's Current Location

And people say he ain't a star no more! Here's some proof that he's still high-up in the world...

Thanks mate; the usual dross but a bit of a glimpse behind the scenes!

    A Good Man - Reviews

I just watched and enjoyed. A nice story, with a good balance of action and drama over the reasonably lengthy run-time for a DTV (over 90 minutes!) Seagal looks okay and despite a period of around 10 or 15 minutes in which he vanishes about 3/4 of the way in, is clearly the star, despite a...

    Interview with director Michael Oblowitz!

Thanks to both you and him for this; positive, seemingly honest responses to the questions too, good on him.

    Attrition - reviews

I watched Attrition tonight. I enjoyed it, nice cinematography and atmosphere. Much of the dialogue is in Mandarin, which is a bit different. Some dire CGI blood spoileswhat is otherwise a movie with high production values. You can tell it's a Seagal "passion project" because he gets to give a...

Martial Artist Scott Adkins interviewed Seagal

A pleasant listen/watch. Steve is certainly at his most humble here. I see "Attrition" looks easier to get one's hands on now, just looking at Ebay now, I will have to pick it up. Unsurprisingly it's only project mentioned post "Exit Wounds." Surprisingly, "On Deadly Ground" doesn't get a mention.

Steven Seagal - Hustler Magazine Interview (2009)

Thanks for the article. I wonder what sort of look was on his publicist and make-up girl's face during all this? A respectful one, no doubt.

    Today You Die - Reviews

The little girl was at the children's hospital you're right, but why she needed special attention from Seagal is unclear. His wife told him it's her she's seen in her dreams? Why is she more special then the other kids? The girl unsurprisingly has grown up to to be a "hottie," busy actress too...

    Today You Die - Reviews

Just saw this for the first time. I'm pretty easy to please but this one was a disappointment. Seagal seems like he's having fun and has a few good lines, but after a promising beginning it gets somewhat dull (I'm talking once he gets to the prison). I'm still clueless about how the little...

    General Commander - reviews

Shame it wasn't a series, it was a pleasant watch. I liked the catholic girl and her family, it's a shame that part of the story vanished. I didn't realise it was meant to be a mini-series but you can't particularly tell, as even in standalone movies there can be plot or character threads that...

    Happy Birthday Steven Seagal.

He's just put a video on his facebook with birthday video messages from "all around the world" but all but two are from Australia and most of those are from my city of Melbourne. Still basking in the glow of his visit here (which my wife didn't let me go to) last year.
