New video with Seagal, interview, April 2022.

    Thank you for sharing this.

    Steven Seagal / Putin

Admittedly, I don't regularly engage with the news cycle but I understand that the issues within that region have been ongoing - yet, the matter seems to have escalated over the past year (if not months) by the US and NATO members. Why the heightened international "interest" in issues with the...

    Warner Bros remaking Under Siege.

I didn't get that far because I'm not an enthusiast where social media is concerned. Thanks for pointing that out. I just don't see reimagining Casey Ryback with a "deranged punk rock makeover" and a Rambo influence. Again, it sounds like a comic book concept.

    Warner Bros remaking Under Siege.

I looked at the twitter link provided by Juv. The poster makes reference to "creating the Casey Ryback like you've never seen", suggesting a "resurrection". As I expected, very much comic book remake mentality. Seagal's character said it best - "I'm just the cook". The spontainety is what...

    Warner Bros remaking Under Siege.

Further to my previous comment, it was of course inevitable that this, or one of the other high profile films by Seagal, would have been considered for a remake. That's just the trend and I would be surprised myself if he was involved in any capacity. I likely wouldn't care to see it anyway...

    Warner Bros remaking Under Siege.

It'll be interesting to see how this develops, although in the best case scenario, perhaps a co-writing credit and/or a guest appearance by Seagal.

    Rambo V - Sylvester Stallone

I saw the extended version with the rescue mission at the beginning. Please be mindful that this comment may contain potential spoilers. Overall, the film was pleasing in its own right - the action was effective, focusing more on stealth rather than theatrics hence suited to Stallone's age...

    Under Siege 3

In my opinion, Under Siege 3 is possible to develop. It doesn't necessarily need to be a Warner Brothers production - it could be co-produced by one or more countries outside the US such as Russia, China, film, and/or others in which there is still a decent market for his output. If it is a good...

    Rambo V - Sylvester Stallone

That was a good trailer. Looks promising.

Terminator: Dark Fate - Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton

I haven't followed the development of this movie, but the trailer feels no different to the current trend of superhero oriented films. As theeverlasting suggested in the last post, it is over the top, over dramatic, and has no grit or edge due to all the CGI. This might be a first trailer, but...

    Releasing my own music

Kotegashi, I don't listen to this style of music, but I can appreciate the craft in what I heard. It definitely doesn't sound amateur, if that may be a better way to put it.

    Stories about Seagal (from director's , co-stars....)

We've recognised by now that he is a flawed human being. Hollywood and the broader movie business isn't the most ethical industry for that matter. However, I check into this forum to learn about new projects, discuss previous films, martial arts, and other matters related to his public profile...

Movies Film - General Commander (USA release May 28)

Looks promising. The clips of action aren't bad and his delivery of the dialog sounds a little more inspired.

Movies Film - General Commander (USA release May 28)

An investment by a major company like Lionsgate to distribute a movie is obviously encouraging, but at the same time, considering the way distribution of movies and other content has changed, I don't feel this an indication in terms of the quality of the project. I would be prepared to pay...

    Seagal's Worst...

I still have most of Seagal's movies in my DVD collection. I got most of the lower grade DTV movies on compilation box sets such as the below - perhaps something like this might be the answer if you're looking to complete your collection...

    Seagal's Worst...

"Out of Reach", "Submerged", and "Attack Force" are probably the worst, with respect to significant lack of contribution from Seagal resulting in the painfully evident stunt, physical, and voice doubles. I emphasise a distinction between stunt and physical doubles because, as mentioned earlier...

I'm back first time since 2013!

To be honest, I haven't seen all of them. "A Good Man" was watchable, a little more dialog heavy for Seagal if I remember correctly. Some of the other films like "Code of Honour" are almost cameo appearances, but someone else may be able to provide better reviews.

I'm back first time since 2013!

The run of movies from "Half Past Dead" in 2002 through to "Flight of Fury" in 2007 were disappointing, excluding "Into the Sun". The obvious stunt, physical, and voice doubles just makes them unwatchable. The later DTV movies such as "Born to Raise Hell" and "Maximum Conviction" aren't at the...
