pantera said:ohok. I used to have a lot of pets around me. When i was still living with my parents, we had 2 dogs, 3 cats, a frog, 2 ducks in the garden, 2 cages with hamsters, 2 with desert rats, fishes outside and inside. Actually, my parents still have my 2 cats + the 2 cats of my mother, 2 dogs and fishes.
For my part, i just moved up couples of month ago in my new house, i've got no furniture to protect my stuff. So i can't have pets for now. But i'm thinking of having another cat (no dog 'cos' i'm almost never at home).
Of course i've already 2 cats at my parents. But they're too old 12 years), i don't wanna make them move. Especially, my parents' suuburb is quiet and they're safe there. But i miss them all the time.
So as you can read, i'm use to have pets around me. At my home, there are 2 cats always aroud me: a wild one that i can touch (i'm the only to be able to touch her) and another one who always want to enter my house.
Good for you and that big heart of yours, Amos. That sounds just like something you would do. I hope the poor little thing made it, but at least you did all you could, making that extra effort.Amos Stevens said:Last evening I found a newborn kitten-complete with
cord still attached laying out back by the bunkhouse
meowing its head off...called the Arizona humane
society about 630pm & guy said they would be out in a
bout an hour...we called back 3 more times & the lady
finally got there at 910pm..she had been told it was
an CAT!
Meanwhile I wrapped it in a towel & cut the lid off a
small box & layed it in there...We took turns sitting outside
keeping an eye on it almost two hours.

I'm so glad for you, Sheila! Jake's is surely lucky that you love him so much. Someone else may not have gone through everything you have to make sure he got the best care possible. And I would have burst into tears too at such good news! I hope you and Jake have many happy years together, Sheila.sheila57@tiscali.co.uk said:Hello i must tell you my news i had to take my lovely dog jake he is a king charles spaniel to the vets as they found a very nasty tumour in his anal gland and they thought it was cancerous . I took him to see a specialist in london on the 6/4/05 he had to have full body ex rays it took all day i was a nervous wreck but they said that they couldnt find eney more cancer cells i made a complete fool of myself by bursting into tears it was such a relief . But he has to have 4 seasions of kemo therapy on his anal gland aria just in case they missed eneything and this will kill of eneything that they might have missed and he will have to have check ups every month for six months i was so scared that i was going to lose him he is my best friend and companion and i love him so much his treatment is very expensive but you cant put a price on the life of someone you love .god bless . sheila.
