Have checked with the producers and they say they are getting there with their DVD release. Hopefully official announcement will be soon.

Steve's songs are more of what and who he is is than his movies are.....little known fact. In order to write a song you have to speak what is in your heart. And it's poetry. That's why I say that his music is much more important than his movies. You hear what he feels in his music.

Nah! dont agree, he is really into making good music these days, his acting has never been really good, as he gets older, the quality of his movies are , I'm afraid not so good, nevertheless i'll always love the guy, only his era, new chapter is going into music full time.

I have just been viewing some of the pix in the gallery of Steven playing his music. and just got to wondering... are there even any rumors of new CDs or tours?? Or even just of him playing somewhere?

The announcement was a 'feeler'.
There is no way a tour can be set up that quickly. At least anything valid or worthwhile.
It would have to be narrow and possibly only one country (U.S. & Canada) might be doable.
I worked for a resort and they arranged their entertainment 8-12 months in advance with very little being filled in at 3-4 months ahead (the Big acts are secured FIRST).
The writer's strike sent a shudder through the entertainment industry and the 100 day strike was costly. Now, Screen Actors are preparing to go out on strike too. So this was a quick shot at maybe filling in the blanks and picking up a bit of $$. From the beginning I have thought it was not feasible and may be a precursor for a tour next year.
Sorry gang, my hopes are not up there.
