Bad News for Americans.

From your posts, I see no reason to share any thoughts with you as it would be a waste of time. Your mind is closed, no reason to discuss things with you, all you want to do it seems anyway, is argue, so argue.
Have a nice life in Canada. If you dislike Americans so much why do you correspond with them on a message board? Have no one to chat with there in Canada? Poor little boy Yudansha.

You seem sold that Russia is so much more advanced then America.
All you have to do to get a good example of true superiority is look at both countries results in Afghanastan.
Good night little boy Yudansha. Don't forget your Flinstone vitamins.

you are a joke - and that is another fact

Do you read with closed eyes? I have no hatred for America. I did say that (in other words perhaps ... I guess we are speaking a different English). I welcome opinion. I also welcome debate. I do not welcome fiction against facts, which you've offered as the foundation for your arguments. You really do seem very immature. You are one of those who refuses to learn, aren't you? You also seem like the type who takes things at their face value. In that way, you are a blind seeker of followers. There are enough of those in America, and I am not looking to be recruited to your secluded club.

Look at Afghanistan? You do not know the first thing about military history. Russia left Afghanistan. They were not 'forced' out. However, recall Vietnam. Now this is getting to sound like "my dad can beat up your dad" when one side knows absolutely nothing about the events they proclaim are such defining moments. When it comes to automotive power, Germany is superior. When it comes to electronics, Japan is superior. When it comes to food, Italy is superior. When it comes to military power, Russia is the superior.

In regards to Vietnam............the results of that war were U.S. government responsibility not American military. The American military won the battles, unlike the Russians in Afhanastan. Good night little boy, it must be awful to be you. You seem misreable.

and you seem confused

I cannot argue with a "dull" mind. There is nothing to be sorry about, Mr. Rooster. Your faults are none of my concern, and since you keep hinting at it, I will let you get some rest now. I think your straw mattress is calling you, Mr. Rooster, unless you have a cock fight to get to. Tell goodnight to your hens for me, will you? There must only be one rooster on the barn mustn't there? :D

I know Julie has lots of chickens. Maybe they can offer you some company. :D

what is the punch line in that one?

Mr. Rooster, are you laughing at yourself or are you just tired? I did not wish for this kind of mindset of yours. Please continue, if you'd like, but that will not change anything. And I do respect your pride in your country. I can certainly understand the love for your homeland.

there is no blood

Rooster isn't ripe for cooking yet. :D But I think we should not disturb his rest. Or it will be cockakoockaldoo (sp?) :D

Despite all the rhetoric here, I'd like to offer insight from a message from a very humble Sufi holy man who spoke about the destruction to come back in 1975. One of the things he saw is war between the US, Russia and China. These wars will be global and catastrophic in nature and will be sparked by some kind of incident in the middle east. It will eventually lead to nuclear exchanges that will leave 1 in 10 houses standing, and almost all young men will be called to battle and be lost - on all sides. Not a pretty picture. This destruction will encompass the global community and will know no borders. Other aspects he saw will be global climate change (remember he was saying this in 1975 before all the rage about it now), firestorms (wildfires), drought, famine, floods of mass proportions, monsoon rains in areas that do not usually receive them, etc. All these things are happening now. We are in the middle stages of what he spoke of. One can debate and quote and conjecture and debunk; however, to ignore the state of the world is folly.
On the other hand, there are people of many backgrounds and nationalities who are striving together to try to prevent the prolifiration of nuclear weapons. They are the ones who see that that kind of warfare will solve nothing and will end in the destruction of most of humankind as we know it.
Yes, China is greedy for power - so is Russia and the US and most countries in this world of ours. There are no borders for greed. There are no borders for hatred and revenge. There are no borders for selfishness. We live in a global habitat. What one area of the world does affects us all. What happens "over there" affects us "here" - regardless of where "here" is. The attitude of seperation from our fellow humans is what is and will cause our destruction. Until humans understand that we are One Family our fate is dim. Until we learn to live with love, compassion, humbleness, and treat all lives as our own - until these qualities flow from our hearts - the Human Race may very well come to an end. There may be terrible times ahead for us all. We need to be united in the purpose of preserving precious Human Life.
In Oneness and Peace

Im sure, that the americans are not dumb, they have bigger weapons and they have more people and more money for a war. im sure we can't imagine what america have... and im sure in war they will win! And thats right. Because America is a nation on the right side, and im sure that they will make the world more peaceful.

"im sure in war they will win"

LOL what an optimist! More weapons? If you count baseball bats as weapons, then perhaps Russia has less.

Thank you for writing that Hofmae, it was kind of you.

Has anyone ever told you that you look like Glimmerman some? You could pass for his brother or at least cousin from what I see in both yours and his picture.

Oh, im sure America has a lot of weapons we don't know about. But for me America is a kind of World Police, because they have extreme big possibilites to help people und to fight against crime, and for me its 100% ok if America looks for our world and for peace. And i trust the Government and the people 100% (i know nobody trusts bush, but i do.)

Your wrong about Bush buddy.
I'm with you, I trust and love President Bush and his family. The only thing I was and have been dissappointed in the Bush family for was there lack of effort to keep the woman alive [Schiavo.....spelling?], and take the power out of the moron husband's hand's.
If ever a doubt comes into mind about Bush and his staff, just look at how brilliant they are. Ms. Rice is probably one of the smartest and most powerful women in the world. V.P. Cheney is a stud. The General in charge of the Joint Chiefs of staff, the first and only marine ever to hold the position by the way, General Pace was my C.O. when I was with the Presidential Honor Guard in 1988-1989 at the Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C. General Pace has always been a brilliant man, and is very deserving of his position at the Pentagon.
President Bush gets an A+ with me.

Wow nice to here that. I think (as see the whole Schiavo Thing from outside the US) Bush has done everything he can. I mean every other president would not sign that paper he has, and every other president would not react in this situations...

Im sure President Bush is a man of honor and hes doing everything he can. Im very sad about the fact, that soo much americans don't like him, its not fair. Because i mean other Presidents has done not so much more, its just not true. I think the problem is, that a lot of Americans getting "liberal" and near to Europe. But for me America is a REPUBLICAN country and America should be America like 20 years ago. I don't like it to see that America is moving nearer to Europe because if i go to America i want to see the other life, not the european one, i have that at home! :)

I think your aim is on target, for the most part Hofmae.

Hofmae:

I think your on target with alot of your thinking. Many Americans [me being one] are not for the [generally] liberal European point of view on things, especially not the war against terror. Unfortunately, alot of good folks [you and Glimmerman come to mind] are in Europe and the European continent seems to be extremely cowardly in there way of dealing with aggression/terrorism against them. England of course, being a modern day exception to above.
