Well after cancellations and tests i am finally in on Tues.This one is a laser job on the throat and ain't no picnic. It's a bit risky,but i want this. I hope they have a better aim than in Goldfinger,lol.Wrong end of the body!
Just thought you who have known me a while would be interested.......

Tuesday! I'll be thinking of you first thing in the morning (by which time, in your time zone, your op should be done with and you'll have all the nurses coming round for a cuddle). All digits will be crossed and fervent invocation of all deities for the op to go well!

Well you can't have it on Tuesday because according to my calendar here,it was your surgery wasn't till Wednesday :)

Well i go in Tues to go on a drip etc but yes Amos is right. The op is Wed. Thanks all for your support. It shows the people here in their true colours. Good to see you back Leon. Behave now! (Just messing. I'm as bad as you).
And a lot of the nurses here are like East German shotputters,not like Serena! You know what the ward sister said last time? "If i'd known it was you i'd have taken the week off!". Charming,though this little Chinese madam has all the charm of Cruella De Ville.
My registrar warned me to think long and hard as it's dangerous but i must.
I have spoken to someone who had something similar and they said it was like swallowing a porcupine...*gulp*.:D
I can't wait...
