I will say it again until iam blue in the face you 'cannot' say that these guys are the same because even though they are martial artists they still have there own techique..thats what i think any way..

They want to compare apples and oranges.
Yes, they are both fruits but that's where it ends.
They are completely different.

Both Steven and Chuck are great Martial Artists
but they are also completely different. You cannot
compare them.
God bless,
Mama san

Very good TV serie, great fights, very complete arsenal: punches, throws, strokes, kicks, luxations...etc

Chuck is a great martial artist, and a great action man

Close to 67, remember, a good example to follow, as Sly.Shape and mind, attitude and effort.

Steven must take those lessons of them

On the day that i c Chucky and Sylvee effortlessly deflect their adversaries with flowing energy on my t.v. screen like Steven Seagal, i'm really not interested
It takes Chucko and Sylvee a long time until they can put the bad people down with their punches and kicks, Steven Seagal takes out the bad people quickly and with sophisticated self-defense body movements in the blink of an eye

That is possibly true, after all Seagal has never been tested in combat where as Norris has, with a record of 65-5, with each loss being reversed in a rematch.

What you mean to really state is that "it's never been reported in private nor in public that Steven Seagal has ever been tested in actual aikido combat"
But from what i've read and learned about aikido combat testings, "one doesn't become a aikido sensei such as Sensei Steven Seagal has" without actual aikido combat testing from a higher ranking aikido master
Aside from this, aikido combat testings are more sophisticated and deadlier than Chuck's "chuk kwon do/korean karate" combat tests

I remember reading in one of Chuck Norris' biography books that he had been bullied by a native american indian boy during his grade school days
I wonder if this may be the reason for his dislike and bad-mouthing towards Steven Seagal?
Probably brings back bad memories for Chuck, since Steven Seagal does resemble an american indian in some ways
I also noticed that when Steven Seagal established his Steamroller Production company and his security teams business in California and his movie "Above The Law", Chuck Norris departed his home in California and set up movie making in Texas

I'd love to see Chuck Norris say some good things pertaining to Steven Seagal's film career for once. There's no reason for Chuck to continue hating Steven Seagal. Steven Seagal has always said about Chick Norris, "I don't care for Chuck's films, but God bless him anyway"

Animosity between Steven and Chuck is pure media hype!
I just wish that people would pay close attention to just
"what" it is they're reading and just "who" is writing it.
These (people?) make their money causing confusion and
as much conflict as possible.
Chuck was born in Ryan, Oklahoma, March, 10, 1940.
He began "making his home in Texas" when started
"Walker, Texas Ranger"! As far as I know he's lived
there ever since.
Steven was born in Lansing, Michigan, April, 10, 1951.
His parents moved him and his sisters to California when
he was about 7 or 8 years old. He went to school there.
He, in fact, grew up there. Even though he has traveled
all over the world, California is still very much.....home!

You said that Steven didn't care for Chuck's films!
I have a problem with that statement....just "where" did
it "originate"?
Perhaps Chuck doesn,'t care for Steven's films! So what!!!!
Who cares? I'm sure that neither of them care what others
think!
Whether they do or don't......who cares!! Don't they each
have a right to their own opinions?

People continue to "try" to compare these men. Stupid
idea from the get-go!

You simply "cannot" compare apples
and oranges. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME, except that they are
both round!!!!

I agree with the G-Man.... the whole idea is ridiculous!
God bless,

The early 1990's Black Belt magazine article with Steven Seagal during his "Hard To Kill" release is when and where it originated
Steven was asked what he thought about Chuck Norris films by a Black Belt writer/interviewer, and Seagal said he didn't care for CN movies, but bid Chuck well in whatever he did down the road

Like I said......Steven is entitled to his opinion
and Chuck is entitled to his! And the, "Steven
wished him well" part...you kinda left out, huh?
"Case:D" closed!

That's just it, Mike!
There is/was no animosity!
I don't like the films that Steven
has been putting out lately! Does
that mean that I have any animosity
toward him? NO! It doesn't! I just wish
he would make better films.
God bless,
Mama san
