Chuck Norris only knows how to kick and punch so Steven would just block them and flip chuck around like a rag doll.

Thats just about the dumbest thing I've heard. Chuck is a master of several martial arts (including one he invented himself.) Chuck has one of the most impressive records in the entire martial arts. Generally as well martial arts are about self defence, against primarily people who don;t know martial arts. Coming up against another martial artist, especially someone with a different style can really throw someone.

I;d say this is a very difficult question. However I owuld also probably say Steven would win because of his power and size. He could take a few more hits than Chuck. Having said that with Chucks style of martial arts they learn special techniques for punching power and kicking power, while of course Aikido isn't as much about striking. So Chuck could get in one or two really powerful hits and maybe knock the big man out.

That would be probably the best fight in the world.

Just a bit about Chuck:

Norris joined the Air Force after graduating from high school. During a stint in Korea, he began to study the Asian martial art of Tang Soo Do. After returning home, he worked for Northrop Aviation and moonlighted as a karate instructor. Two years later he was teaching full-time and running a number of martial-arts schools. His students included Steve McQueen, Priscilla Presley and the Osmonds. In 1968 he became the Professional World Middleweight Karate Champion, holding the title undefeated until he retired in 1974. He is a black belt in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwan Do, both Korean fighting arts, and knows all forms of the martial arts. In 1969 he earned the Triple Crown for the highest number of tournament wins, and was named Fighter of the Year by "Black Belt" magazine. By the time he was 34, Norris had established 32 karate schools and had been a champion for six years. In 1996 he became the first Westerner to be awarded an eighth-degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do.

He has founded two of his own martial arts: Chun Kuk Do ("the Universal Way") and American Tang Soo Do.

He has a 10th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, and also an 8th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do...that is, the Korean (or traditional) styles of each.

Is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the Machado Brothers.

Often trained with Bruce Lee. And there are many martial arts experts who reckon Chuck could have beaten Bruce Lee mano-a mano.

Seriously, Norris would destroy Seagal. Well in his prime he would have anyway. Speed and agility would overcome size and strength.

Not necassarily. Dolph Lundgren was an undefeated Karate champ, because he was so big and powerful, he won most of his fights by knockout. Most of his opponents were not very big and as such Lundgren won many fights through a single blow. I'd imagine Seagal would have been similar had he done tournement fighting.

I thought Seagal in his prime was quite fast. If you watch the old footage from path beyond thought he is very quick and he has the size advantage so i think Seagal would be able to beat Chuck. It would have been one hell of a fight to see. Maybe the two of them can make a movie together. That would be cool.

I also would say Seagal in his prime. Due to his size, he has a tremendous reach advantage. Norris would have to close in a little and try to kick, punch or clinch him. Seagal was very very fast and precise in his prime and I think, on skill and combat alone, Seagal wins hands down.

I don't think Seagal could beat him, well not anymore atleast, Chuck Norris is in great shape even if Seagal were able to stay in it for a while, all the ki, and good karma is not going to keep is stamina up, he can't even do fake fights or stunts in the movies how is he going to go against a real Martial Arts champion. Chuck Norris isn't going to come at him like one of his students and take the fall. Maybe Seagal before he got famous would have a chance because Aikido was his life than, but now I think Seagal would get seriously hurt.

The Two Greats

They are both superb martial artists and have both lost their way in the movie world.

However, both in their prime? It would be hard to say, I guess that Steven would parry and re-direct any of Chuck’s attacks.Over a period of time Chuck would gradually tire and weaken, I would then see it that Chuck would get tired of attacking and Steven would get bored of blocking.

They would then realise that the fight is futile, both appreciate each other’s skill, shake hands and sit down and have a quiet drink of Sake.

I agree that fights (real ones between martial artists) can be dull. It’s almost like a game of chess with no real action, but against a non-martial artist the results are a different matter.

I know Suzi, but it was more lighthearted than some posts. They are all good in their own styles so we shouldn't really compare them. I like Chuck for other reasons than his style of martial arts. I love his Walker Texas Ranger series. We are just starting to get repeats so I can watch what I missed last time around LOLOL!!!
Got stronger painkillers now, so can chuckle without hurting!!!!
