So, Seagal is the vigilante or the soldier out to stop him? It sounds like he maybe playing the bad guy here(well, if you call a vigilante who kills criminals a bad guy).

Wow! Thanks JoeDirt. I have the feeling this could be the same project as Foreign and Domestic. Because Waxman is not attached to this....

The great news is that the movie will be not directed by Waxman!! I'm so happy.

If true this is indeed great. I'm craving for another director other than Waxman, just for Seagal to try something new and different ;)

I think after this films released we might realize that Waxman is a pretty good STV

1.This film is produced by people who have lower budgets than Voltage
2.The director has done mostly low budget horror

I am loking forward to Absolution more than this even though this has a good plot i just think this will be another Milleniuim type film

Also this will be edited by Robert Feretti as he edits all this directors other work

So this is Foreign and Domestic

Agree, everyone is bashing on Waxman, but he is getting the best possible out of Steven right now. I think some people would like to go back to the times of Attack Force, Flight Of Fury and Kill Switch. Fine by me, but I would rather stay with Waxman!

Agree with that....I think so people here need to watch any Seagal film between 2003-2007 with the exception of ITS and see that a complete mess his film career was...now hes doing pretty decent STV films IMO and on par with other actors who are doing STV

Sorry, I'm a big Seagal fan and I have seen all cr.p movies between 2003 and 2007. Again, moving from very bad movies (Keusch and others era) to bad movies (Waxman era) is not satisfactory. I want more!

I would suggest Seagal to work again with Roel Reiné. Pistol Whipped was a very decent DTV movie, much better that FOE, The Keeper, A Dangerous Man and so on.

Well, we will see how this movie turns out. I think this is not bad news overall (be aware that Ferretti also edited a movie from Oblowitz recently. ;))

The problem could indeed be the budget, we will see. Maybe because they probably film this in Alabama (which I think is positive) Hannibal Pictures and / or Grindstone Entertainment will co-produce this, so it will get a decent budget in the end?

At the moment I’m looking forward to both this movie and the rumored movie in Asia.

I have seen Pistol Whipped again recently and although its good I think Waxmans films look better IMO....Pistol Whpped looks very cheap in some spots

The best thing about PW is the fights are very good

I'm not sure, but maybe it looks a bit cheap because of the camera choice? Some films Reiné later made had about the same or even lower budgets and looked better. "Seal Team Eight: Behind Enemy Lines" for example does have a pretty low budget as far as I know, but looks solid and has some great action scenes.

Also, the quality of the PW DVD is terrible. But the movie is a bit too dark sometimes, that could have been better.

I personally would like to see a Seagal movie from Reiné again.
