Thank you!
Maybe the fight scene with the silhouettes will be pretty weird, but maybe the rest does still have a chance to turn out good?
Do you think he could tell us more about the action in the movie?
I will ask him...
Thank you!

I hated the last 10 minutes because Seagal owning Vinnie Jones was ludicrous
Why???
Vinnie Jones cant fight..Hes an ex footballer
Now Seagal vs Gary Daniels that was a wasted opportunity
I think that is why we keep looking for the positive stories and keep faith untill the finished product. Who knows we might get surprised one day.
I'm not trolling here guys, honestly I'm not - but it's kinda sad when I see you guys trying to scrape together some hope between you, after learning Seagal was doubled for an entire 2 minute fight you're saying that maybe there is still some hope it will be a good movie because he filmed close-ups for the others...pardon the French but what the f*ck? Is this what we've come to?...
Now I enjoyed Absolution, in fact I thought it was his best since Driven to Kill and he looked reasonably interested. I hated the last 10 minutes because Seagal owning Vinnie Jones was ludicrous. Not because Vinnie is a hard man, but because it was a completely wasted opportunity that I bet was Seagal's insistence.
I don't know how you guys can defend him any longer. I love his movies, I really do. But when stuff like this comes out, the only person stopping Seagal's movies from being better is Seagal himself. If the producers don't give a shit and Seagal doesn't give a shit, how can we be expected to? Again, I'm not trolling, but he's turned into a total joke in the action world. It's genuinely time he decided to either retire or put in the effort. Afterall, it's you guys he is disrespecting by putting in no effort, you run out and buy the DVDs as soon as they are released, yet he can't even be bothered to shoot a movie he's being paid to star in...something wrong there.
Vinnie is a streetfighter, a rumbler. He showed this many times in his illustrous football career. And in movies anything can be possible, so why couldn't he be a fighter?
Peace
Vinnie isnt a Streetfighter he was a pretty average football that in real life would be beaten in a few seconds by Seagal who is an aikedo master and also
skilled in Karate and Kendo
Now Gary Daniels or Darren Shahlevi etc should have been more equal end fights
Rastafari, the point I was making is that Vinnie Jones is in some respects an action actor, he's known for being physical in both the sporting profession and in the acting roles he takes. He fought with Stallone in Escape Plan and they had a pretty decent fight so why didn't he get one hit in when fighting Seagal? They build his character up as the bad guy and as a dangerous man and yet when it actually comes to the final fight, which should be tense, it's a total waste, Vinnie just gets slapped around like a wet tracksuit. If it was some nameless Bulgarian bad guy...fine, but Vinnie Jones and Seagal was a bit of a wasted opportunity to me, same as Seagal and Michael Pare and Seagal and Gary Daniels and Seagal and Byron Mann... I like Seagal's style and his invincibility but at a certain point it just becomes boring, you know exactly what's going to happen in the last 15 minutes of the film before it does - Seagal hands the main bad guy his ass and then a 20 year old chick gets naked for him. Absolution was pretty good up until that point, same as A Good Man. That's why Driven to Kill rocks right up to the end.
I know what your saying but Seagal films have never had any Tension even going back to his glory days you always know whats going to happen....look at OFJ maybe his best film but you know from minute 1 where its going
The thing that goes against Seagal when it comes to fight scenes is that aikedo is about using someones force against them so its hard to do a Stallone/Jones type fight for Seagal has it goes against his fight style
