It seems to me that the majority of Christian religions are basically the same. there are small differences in say views on divorce, marriage, female priests or married priests but all in all we worship the same God, believe in Jesus being his son and Mary being Jesus's mother. I myself feel it is more about how we live our lives and treat other people than what religious denomination we class ourselves as belonging to, for we all only have a short time on this Earth to do the things we want to do.
Does that help ?????????????????

Thank you for saying that! I also want to add that we are all here to love, care for, and help one another. Some "Christians" miss that point.

hi
it doesnt really help, as my post says, i want to know the difference between the classes (although you did lightly touch past it)
Obviously its about how we live our lives but I think you are making a different point than that the topic is aimed at.
Thanks though.

Kimono, no1s perfect, it would be foolish to think otherwise.
by judging them to the point that they are "so called Christians" (implied by your quotation marks) you are setting a bad example to loving, caring and helping, as judgment involves condemning.
Thanks for letting me share my points guys
I know it was negative but i could sense some negativity/ tongue in cheek humour.
peace

I'm glad you saw the humor!! Just to clear up a few things...in order to be setting a bad example for Chirstians, I would to have claimed to be one, which I did not. When I said "we", I meant all human beings. That's not to say that I don't believe in God and Jesus Christ, because I do. I believe in the God and the Christ of love and peace. I just don't believe in putting a label on my beliefs, as I draw upon many different beliefs. I guess a better word to use would have been "hypocrite." I really don't feel I was passing judgement, but merely making an observation. I pray for those types of people every day. I guess I could have made my simple statement in a much nicer way.

Just sign me,

Zookie, I respect your question. I think you may have it answered quicker by going to explanations of the specific doctrines and comparing them for yourself. There are differences and that is why they exist. Peace. Have fun.

You are right....we are to love, care, and help one another. "Some Christians" do miss that point....just as much as a "non-Christian". Thanks for the back-handed comment. :indiffere You are right on something else....you could have worded it better. You made it sound like Christians are the only ones who are capable of being a hypocrite. We are all are imperfect. Jesus is the only one who walked this earth that was without sin. ..and what did HE do while he was on earth? He helped others...and came and make Himself the "bridge" so that we can be with Him where there is no sin. ...the "living" sacrafice." Free gift..just trust and believe.
