Drownings

Well here it's the 20th of January & Az has had its first drowning victim.An 2 year old in a swimming pool with a fence.
Just a reminded to be extra careful even when it seems ridiculously so...lives are at stake.

Swimming pools are an invitation to small children ... they should be locked up like Fort Knox (the pools, not the kids) ... truly sad thing. Similar thing happened when I was young at a friend's pool. Their 3-year-old was lost.

That's really sad. We don't have many swimming pools up here although we have more drownings per capita than any other state. Some can be prevented by drown proofing the kids. It's a way to teach even babieds to handle immersion. But many Alaskan drownings can't be prevented because of falling into winter sea water like the Bering or a river too fast to survive.
