Just found this, I guess this is new:
http://www.cinando.com/DefaultController.aspx?PageId=FicheFilm&IdC=26349&IdF=218184

Seagal is mentioned on the teaser poster. Also he is listed as an actor if you try it with this link: http://www.cinando.com/DefaultController.aspx?PageId=CastLink&IdP=106989

Maybe this is the big movie they will make later this year?

How reliable is this site?

I also asked him if there is a possibility that he will release Absolution in The Netherlands, because that movie still hasn't got a release here in Holland. He told me he is going to Cannes next week (market for buyers) and he will look out for Daro Film Distribution and probably buy the movie to release it in Holland. He didn't know about that movie and was happy that I told him about the movie. Very good news for the Belgium and Dutch fans.
Hard to imagine Absolution has still not been released in Holland. However, it looks like that may be rectified soon. Good luck.

I have been in contact with Chuck Hustmyre. He wrote the screenplay for End Of A Gun. He is willing to give an interview about End Of A Gun. PM me your questions and I will collect them.

He has seen a rough cut of the movie but wasn't involved in the filming. So keep that in mind when you send me your questions.

1. Did the rough cut follow his script, or did it seem to have extensive re-writes?
2. If so, what does he think of the changes?
3. In Hustmyre's opinion, did Seagal play his character per the script, or did he "wing it"?
4. Does he have any other scripts in pre- or production at this time?

Thanks for trying to set up the interview.

Hey DiDa! Awesome.

1. The Story is set in Paris. Did they use some CGI or did they use some Stock - Footage?
2. Does Seagal have a lot of Screen - Time?
3. Are there some Car-Chases in the movie?

Thanks!

- According to his website, the film was planned to film in Vancouver, but it was filmed in Romania in the end. What was the reason of the change of the location?
- Would he like to write more screenplays for Steven Seagal?

Short interview with Chuck Hustmyre:

1) Can you tell a little bit about yourself? How did you become a writer?

I’m a retired federal agent. Being an avid reader, I’ve also enjoyed writing off and on my entire life. Once I left law enforcement I decided to try it full time. The story END OF A GUN is based on was from my first novel, which didn’t sell. Since then I have written several published novels and two nonfiction books. END OF A GUN is my second produced screenplay. The first was HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN.

2) You wrote the screenplay for End Of A Gun. Did the producers contacted you to write the screenplay or was it already written?

Another producer asked me to write it after seeing my work on HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN. He wanted something with that same kind of gritty feel.

3) How were you involved in the movie project? You visited the set. Did you have something to say about the movie outcome?

I did visit the set but I wasn’t involved in the production.

4) The film was planned to film in Vancouver, but it was filmed in Romania in the end. What was the reason of the change of the location?

It costs less to film in Romania, and that country has a well-developed infrastructure for movies.

5) You mentioned that you saw a rough cut of the movie. Did the rough cut follow the script, or did it seem to have extensive re-writes?

I saw a rough trailer. Not the movie. I understand there were some major rewrites.

6) What did you think of the rough cut?
N/A

7) How would you describe the movie? Is it action or more thriller?

As I wrote it, it was more action movie than thriller.

8) In your opinion, did Seagal play his character per the script, or did he adapt it?

He adapted it to his personal style, the same as all actors.

9) Are they any fight scenes with Seagal and does he have a lot of screentime?

There are some good fight scenes. As for screen time, I really can’t say because I have not seen the movie.

10) Can you tell something about Gunfighter? Is it like Schwarzenegger's The Last Stand?

As far as Gunfighter, I can only speak about the script itself. I understand there have been some online reports of Steven Seagal being in the film, but as far as I know that is not set in stone. So about the script. First, I wrote Gunfighter before The Last Stand came out. But I think the concepts are similar, although the executions are vastly different. Gunfighter is more an homage to the great westerns I grew up on, films like High Noon and Rio Bravo, with one man or a small band of men standing against many.

This is just typical. It was the only Seagal movie I was looking forward to..
