Not sure about his (quote) "Last GoodMovie".....But I'll gladly buy it when released.

To me, it was his last good movie and A-movie. It was a Warner film, it cost over 30 Million Dollar and he was slim. After that he gained weight again etc....

To this day I don´t understand why Seagal gained 20 pounds between "Exit Wounds" and Half Past Dead.

He had a number 1 hit with "Exit Wounds" and didn´t have motivation to keep his weight. As a matter of fact as we all know he was fat again in his next movie "Half Past Dead".

His weight has never been an issue with me (he's still fast as hell) I'm more bothered about his lack of interest in certain movies. Would love to see THE GLIMMER MAN on Blu-Ray also

To me his weight was always an issue. I don´t know an actor who got so lazy like Seagal. But to me that doesn´t matter anymore. I love his first five movies and to me his movie career is over. Of course, it would have been great if his career would have been longer.

I´ve never seen his DVD premieres because to me after "Exit Wounds" his career was over.

Sorry you feel that way seagal1969.
Personally, I thought he was a bit too lanky (i.e, skinny and tall) in ABOVE THE LAW. He was probably at his best weight in ON DEADLY GROUND, and then noticeably 'larger' in THE GLIMMER MAN.

Like I said, his weight don't bother me (and I prefer stuff like DRIVEN TO KILL or URBAN JUSTICE over UNDER SIEGE or FIRE DOWN BELOW anyhow) Whilst admitting that he could do with losing a little weight (hey, couldn't we all?) I like his new look. When he puts on the scowl in (say) A DANGEROUS MAN.......It proves that he can still be badass, and be carrying a little extra padding. The guy is in his sixties now, given his height, I'd say his weight isn't as bad as people make out (not everyone can be as sculpted as Stallone) The only aspect I don't like is the (occasional) lack of interest he shows in movies (and the post production tinkering)
Other than that, Seagal has still got a healthy career (albeit in DTV land) If he can knock out more PISTOL WHIPPED's than FLIGHT OF FURY's...Then I see him doing this stuff well into his seventies?

I fully agree!! We can even say that the physical change was quite impressive between the two movies. EW had a decent life in US and worldwide box office and I have never understood why Seagal did not take advantage of all the good things of EW to reboot his career.

And sure, EW was the last Steven Seagal good movie.

Seagal is a strange guy with a huge ego. Every fan knows that. A lot of people think that he is a pathological liar, a women beater, abusing stuntmen etc.

I don´t like the movies that he made in the last 12 years. You can´t barely see the fighting scenes because of his physical shape and fast cuts. Look at his first five movies. The fight scenes in "Above the Law, Hard to Kill, Marked for Death and Out for Justice" were amazing.

I´ve never seen that kind of a fighting style. Simple unique. I loved him at the time.

By the way, I told you folks here that I own many Seagal Talk Show appearances(Jay Leno, David Letterman, Arsenio Hall). Unfortunately, nobody is able to explain how I can upload them on YouTube.

I even have his Talk Show appearance together with his former wife Kelly LeBrock when he was promoting "Hard to Kill" on the Arsenio Hall Show.

If you have these talk shows in a digital format then the only thing you need is a google-account (gmail) to login to youtube. After that you can find an upload video option in your profile.

The last thing you need is a lot of patience for the uploading.

Kotegashi: I have a YouTube account. I regulary defend Seagal against all the Seagal haters there. I have all the Talk Show appearances on DVD-R. I know the upload Video Option but with it it doesn´t work. I try to figure out how to do it. I´ll tell the forum as soon as I can upload them on YouTube.

If they are in dvd (ifo, vob etc) format you will need to convert them to an uploadable format like wmv, mpg, mov, flv, avi.

So i think perhaps there is the problem. There are plenty converters to be found on the net.

Exactly.....-that´s my problem. I don´t know how to convert my DVD-R because I´ve never done this.

I just watched the bluray of EW ; hadn't seen it for a few years.....but I have to admit the higher-res and larger screen(I think just about everybody has a larger screen TV these days compared to 2001).... looked great.....I enjoyed watching the movie again noticing all the little things I hadn't before.
PS: the IMDB has some interesting things posted in the trivia part about EW...
notably the one about Eva Mendes voice being dubbed over because she didn't sound intelligent enough..

If that filmography screenshot is taken from the blu-ray, you'd think they might updated it since EXIT WOUNDS (he's made about 30+ movies since 2001) I'm guessing Warners have ported all the features from their old DVD release?

I've been holding back on getting a Blu-Ray machine (mostly a money issue up 'til now), but now that my DVD player is dying a slow, painful death, maybe now's the time to get one instead of a new cheap DVD player. Obviously different prices/quality DVD players available, but you can get one now almost as cheap as the videocassette players went down to -- before they became extinct. LOL

If it means, as J. Lucas said, you can pick up little things you may not have noticed before in a Seagal movie, there's the incentive I was looking for! :D

I'm sure I could find the info on this site or online somewhere, but can anyone please put a quick list here of any other Seagal movies on Blu-Ray? Thanks!
