Storm,

I was thinking about what you said, poor thing...
Just don't let it get you down...
I know it must be hard (well, I guess I can't know) but I really am wishing you good things...
Stay strong, I know you already are...
You have gone through all this, and made it, thank goodness!
And people do care, that helps a little, I hope...:)

When I saw Exit wounds i thought great hes made another cool movie but all movies are only as good as the cast Steven on his own with a mediocre cast. Leads to a mediocre film. Unfortunatley the mighty $ rules the movie buisness without the $ the co stars of a calibre to make the movie stay away.

This is very true it seems...
There must be a reason for
him to be making these less
expensive movies, though...

Recover soon !!

sincerely

Storm

Smile dammit!
I'll keep all that to a minimum as this isn't a health site, lol! But i thank you girls, and Amos for the good wishes. You are all diamonds. Mama San, i know you had problems and hope they have improved. I'm not ashamed to say i cried when i caught the MRSN superbug and every improvement was followed by a new illness i caught off other patients. When they put me in an isolated room that went to a minimum but was soul destroying, espescially 2 months without food or a drink of water(beats the Atkins diet anyday). That was because my consultant said it was the last option before shipping me off to Leeds at the teaching hospital as she'd done all she could. When i saw all the messages at my guestbook i realised the sort of people who come here so CHEERS!

Storm - you fu*king rule, man.

even eagle - I disagree with your post. I thought the supporting cast for Exit Wounds did a pretty good job, even though Seagal was the star of the movie. DMX for example was excellent considering it was his first movie. Tom Arnold and that fat black dude were just plain annoying, but I think they were supposed to be and they provided some cool light-hearted moments. Seagal had genuine chemistry not only with DMX, but also with his colleague George and his female commander. The crooked cops were convincingly nasty as well, particularly Michael Jai White as the smooth-talking chameleon and the huge white guy who shocks Seagal with the taser and gets bitch-slapped for his trouble. All in all, the movie wasn't stunning, but it certainly wasn't mediocre and was Seagal's best movie since Under Siege in my opinion.

I agree with your opinion of "Exit Wounds" and thought it was far from mediocre. Seagal gelled well with the whole cast, and it was an example of a moderately budgeted film which did'nt look cheap, it had some good production values courtesey of Joel Silver. All in all I thought it was better than the production teams previous effort "Romeo Must Die", although it was'nt bad either.

I definatly be getting "Cradle 2 The Grave" when it is released.

Peace.

The Female Commander is Jill Henassy(sp?) The Star of Crossing Jordan.
And a Canadian Hotty, she's a twin and the better looking of the two.
And a good actress.
Crossing Jordan is a good show, she's a boston city coroner who just can't help but be a detective.
Jerry O'connel played a title role in quite a few eps. I hope its not cancelled. Well written scripts and likable multi-racial cast...which is rare, its either one extreme or another these days.

MMCK - I have liked all of Jet Li's 'Hollywood' movies apart from 'The One', which I thought was a bit of a disappointment, rescued only by a cool fight between the 2 Jet's. What impressed me about it was that both of them had differing martial arts styles (one was a brutal, straight-forward 'attacking' style, while the other was a circular 'defending' style), which is something of a testament to the guys' talent. Cradle 2 The Grave is excellent if not spoilt slightly by a flimsy plot and a rather pathetic scene near the end where the panto-style dialogue during a nuclear experiment goes something like: "1 Hiroshima" and all the Chinese guys sitting around watching the experiment go: "Oooh!" and try to look awe-struck. Then: "2 Hiroshima's"... "Ahhh!" "3 Hiroshima's" "Oooooh!" "4 Hiroshima's" "Ahhhhh!" Like - get a ******* grip will you!

However - Mark Dacascos is an astonishing martial artist (watch Brotherhood Of The Wolf, Crying Freeman, Sanctuary and Drive for more proof) and the climatic fight with Jet Li is awesome, but every fight that Jet has in that movie (including a jaw-dropping rumble with about 50 UFC fighters in a cage) just plain rock!

Out of 10, I would rate Jet's Hollywood movies:

Romeo Must Die - 8
Kiss Of The Dragon - 9
The One - 5
Cradle 2 The Grave - 7
