hello, I'm new here. So I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place or not. Basiclly I am a fan of Seagals Under Seige films and thought I heard awhile back a possible 3rd outing was being considered.

So as an Xmas present for Seagal fans, here is my Fan Art for under seige 3. Along with a wallpaper of the under seige trilogy.

here is a link to the wallpaper

I liked the helicopters and the nuclear power plant exploding at the bottom of the picture Under Siege 3. That is something what I was envisioned for with a storyline interacting the breakdown of The Pentagon in the opening.

Meltdown is a little cliche.

What Seagal title, in ALONG time hasn't been cliche? lol

But yeah, I would hope if this happens they just call it under seige 3, or give it a better subtitle.

Thanks for all the good feedback guys.

So does anyone have any update on wether this is gonna happen? And do you think it will be straight to dvd?

Yep, I love writing. I've enjoyed writing since 1996 and I was 12 at that time. I did bring up some story ideas of becoming into a writing treatment about Under Siege 3 that I've posted about before and I remember you liked the idea. I haven't gotten into it yet because I'm still working on a new story since February 2005 despite that I haven't done a story since April 2004. The last story that I worked on was the final installment of a police corruption action thriller trilogy, supposedly it was almost a lot like Exit Wounds during first half of first part and I went on completely different direction during second half of first part and the rest.

Lot of people went boo-boo with my Under Siege 3 idea because they still prefer hijack the airplane idea. I always knew that hijack the airplane won't work because I know people expect an entertaining and fast-paced film so with the idea of break-in at the pentagon and taking place at the nuclear power plant might be the only way to go. Despite that Under Siege 3 will be the final film of a trilogy and with that idea will be better for a Under Siege film because it's something different rather than having a story taking place with a transportation such as ship, train, bus or airplane. And it's the way that Under Siege 3 can end on a huge note and possibly Seagal's career with a good note.

And also there is another way that will make Under Siege 3 work really well with nuclear power plant/pentagon break-in route is to add a plot device that is missing from first two Under Siege films is to show a backstory revealing who Casey Ryback really is and how he become to be a real warrior because of what happened that was pointed out in first film that his team failed but he was only one that made it out alive. That is something more interesting for a character development for Seagal's character that something that people wouldn't expect because people viewed Seagal as same type of character in many of his movies. That's something that can be differ from any of his films especially Under Siege 1 and 2. That also led me to end up thinking of having Commander Krill coming back and that's the only way to reveal that plot device is what makes Casey Ryback so ticked off.

So..the story that I'm writing now is a romance thriller titled Dark Rainbow. I never worked on a story longer than 6 months but the reason writing Dark Rainbow for long time is because I never wrote a romance thriller before and I used to write action stories all the time. And also because of in between with my work schedule and stuff so that's why but I do have the ending planned out for that story but it won't be a vice versa/happy type ending. It's an ending that makes you think a lot and probably for long time but you'll end up saying "wow" with a feeling of being amazed because of how many things have happened throughout the whole story with full of thrilling moments and suspense that keeps you on edge of your seat right from the start. This story deals with the idea of love, dating, relationships and friendships based on what I felt after what I've seen out there and part of from my experience.

That would be really good to find out some of the history of Casey.

Good luck with writing Dark Rainbow.

Heather it's early days for this year, I'm sure the writing will demand your attention again soon.

Thank you for the comments!

I actually always imagined Under Siege 3 to take place on 2-floor jumbo jet like the one in Snakes on a Plane, only a bit bigger.

you haven't gotten the slightest interest of writing stories? Well, maybe here's an idea...when I get Dark Rainbow done, maybe you should read the story because I know when you do, you'll get your interest back. Trust me on this one and I know how to pull people right into it right from the start.

What I came up with the idea for Under Siege 3 is because of what I'm writing for Dark Rainbow in term of having edge of your seat excitement. Think of the tension from Kurt Russell's 1997 film titled Breakdown mix with 2006's Mission Impossible 3 in term of action and frantic camera movements (sweeping or constantly moving camera work).

Wow...what's so big interest on an airplane idea? Have you or anyone gotten the slightest idea in term of "edge of your seat" excitement? Snakes on a Plane is the most boring film that I ever seen! and it's a dumb film. Why don't the story go on a different route for Under Siege 3 that is different from first two, maybe on a bigger scale as in a epic feel for an action film. Airplane idea does not have an epic feel to it for an action film. Nuclear power plant with the break-in at the Pentagon in the open will have an epic feel to it.

I never knew why people don't understand things about movies that much? To me, I think they like brain-dead and dumb type of films such as Snakes on a Plane or Borat or Saw 2 or whatever. As for Saw films, don't fight with me about it only that I liked Saw 1 and 3 that's it. With the ideas that I came up that I would have liked to see in a Under Siege film is pretty simple and nothing hard to do. And I thought it'd be a nice piece of change especially for Seagal's performance since that I would like to add some history about Casey Ryback's character that was never done in any of Seagal films before. Have you ever considered a thought about anything like this?

Airplane idea will be too much same as Under Siege 2 but it'll be very boring film with so little action, trust me on this one. Under Siege 2 was very lucky that there's a truck pursuit going after the train. In an airplane, where would the action go then? Think about it.

Exactly, and it's a nice piece of change especially with all people's criticism on Seagal's performance that his performance are all same.

Thanks and I know the story will work out well which it is so far. So far, it is 70 pages long and I'm on little more than halfway through.

Well I thought Executive Decision had at least some good action towards the END. Sadly, Seagal "died" before he could get on the plane. Perhaps if the plane were, like I said, a massive jumbo jet, their could be some nice, close-quarters action a` la Die Hard. Have you not seen any of Tubulence?

For your information, SOAP (hehe) was supposed to be ridiculous. That was the full intention. Wonder why the snakes were obviously CGI? It was an intention. I've read the news, I've read the info, I've even read the newspaper in the bottom of your grandmother's DUMPSTER. That movie was supposed to seem stupid and ridiculous. It's supposed to be just FUN to watch, not to be taken seriously. That's why I love the movie.

Under Siege 3 in a building-structure? That sounds like a deliberate rip-off of Die Hard. Seriously. That's the EXACT same thing. Sure, same exact thing with that Dean Kane movie Christmas Rush/Breakaway, but that's beside the point. Die Hard had an epic feel because it was closed quarters, and I REALLY can't see them screwing over the pooch and thinking people will forget that Die Hard 1 ever took place in a building.
