BIG UPDATE regarding General Commander!

They will be releasing both Attrition and General Commander on a new platform that they are launching to release with these two Seagal films mid July .

Turning General Commander in to a movie is great in my opinion :):)..
please no not another streaming service??:rolleyes:..

I asked what that 'platform' exactly means.

Martinez:
We have decided to bring the films to the fans directly first .
We will give you more details soon.

I have no idea what this exactly means.....maybe someone else here has an idea?

Finally somewhat of an releasedate for Attrition. :):)

As we know General Commander will also be released on 365 flix. I contacted them about the release date. They will release 1 movie every month. And there will likely be at least one movie before it.

So we can expect a release in November or December.

Yeah wonder how this one will turn out. Will it have a proper conclusion as it was originally a tv series so expect the following episodes would have carried the plot along.

I was just listening and watching to the video chat of last Saturday and at the end I asked Steven about working with Phillippe Martinez on General Commander. He said that for the time he worked with him it was great. He says that there also went a of lot time in working and filming the other stars.

Just to be prepared: I think Steven will not have many screentime in General Commander, guys. He will be off screen from time to time and then we get the other team members handling the action. We can't blame Seagal because this was suppose to be a tv series. See the movie as a pilot. And in a pilot the team has to be introduced. It's logical. But I still hope for an entertaining action movie.

Agreed. The key is (like you already mentioned) not to get ones hopes up. You just can't afford to do that with latter day Seagal movies unfortunately. If it happens to turn out better than expected - great!

It will be interesting to see how many fight scenes and actual screen time Seagal has in GC. I can't imagine all that much given that he has to share screen time with many others of his "team" (all 5 of them).
