I'm not impressed at all. I can't imagine Seagal having much screen time either. I really don't care for this one as I've said quite a few times before. I await the bad reviews. Sorry to be so negative! But it just doesn't look good to me.
I like the bits of Seagal fighting and the production values look good. I am concerned about how large his team is and I hope there is more Seagal action in the final product.

But you see very little of Seagal in the trailer. As for the Seagal fighting bits? You only see two fight scenes and they are too close up and feature a shaky camera. We deserve better. But I will of course have to wait until I've seen the film before giving it a proper and fair verdict. But on first impressions I'm not impressed. Maybe I'm in the minority here? I don't know.

As for Seagal's team? I think there's 6 of them all together. Spread them all out over 90 mins and there's surely not enough time for them all? This is where a series would've obviously worked much better.

How does 365 flix expect to compete with Netflix when they can't even get a release date right. Imagine if Netflix announced a release date only to push it back two months.

Indeed. 365 Flix are a complete laughing stock. If I was Seagal I would break ties with this joke of a company asap. But knowing Seagal he probably doesn't even know about stuff like this. Let's face it, he can't even remember the titles of his own films half the time :D

So I asked 365 flix again about a release date. Again they said....."it's coming out soon".
It's getting frustrating.

You'd think they would be embarrassed. I would if it was my company.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it now gets a January, 2019 release date.

That 365 flix is just a joke, I think Seagal doesnt know better and just does his thing and let other people arrange the releases and stuff. The name Seagal is the only thing what is giving 365 flix some attention, nothing else. If Seagal leaves there will be nothing left of flix.

Seagal is indeed like 10 seconds in the movie. This will be a typical movie where Seagal does a (little) fight in the beginning of the movie and in the end. For the rest it is up for the team to shine, that's what I think. And also the release of this film after Attrition, Attrion is a great movie and one of his best, so if General Commander comes next it will be more dissapointing then if General Commander was before Attrition hahaha.

Hmmmm. Idk me personally I liked the trailer, I'm not going to say it was amazing idk I look at it this way, I know when seagao was filming this he was also putting his heart into this TV show right after he got done filming attrition.. then all those stupid allegations came up and obviously they had to stop production. For what they did get to film with only the few episodes they have. I'm looking forward to it because at that time I know he was trying to do better so I can almost 100% gurantee he's going to be happy and the parts he is involved in the show I bet it will prove most of you wrong and I bet hell be engaged in his scenes. Of course he's not going to have a lot of screen time it's a TV show, idk I'm going to enjoy it for what is it. Well try to and hey if I'm wrong you guys can come back and let me know after we see the show

I agree, the production values are very impressive and it looks well shot. I hope that Seagal does more in the actual film. I also hope they release it soon.

I certainly hope you're right. It would be great to be proven wrong.

It's disappointing to see 365Flix has already shifted from its main proposition and is now offering only pay-per-view fights as new content.

Certainly a sign that 365 Flix are struggling? They seem to have failed on the films front so know they are trying a last ditch attempt at pay-per-view fights lol. What's it going to be next I wonder? What a p*ss take!!

Hopefully they'll stay afloat long enough to release GENERAL COMMANDER, especially on dvd ;)

I agree with you. This was suppose to be the pilot for a TV show. Then you will have to introduce all your characters. That's why everyone gets their moment of shine. And yes, that means limited screentime for Seagal. But he isn't hiding it himself. He told us in the Q&A that he has limited time and that other characters also get their moment. As long as it is a decent movie I don't care about the limited screentime.

I don't understand why you'll be happy to see a load of unknown actors' probably getting a lot more screen time than the main draw of the film - Seagal. It will surely be just like True Justice only with slightly bigger set pieces in the explosions etc. And, apart from a few brief fight scenes (hard to say yet how they will turn out, but they don't impress me from what I can see in the trailer), I can imagine we'll see Seagal mainly sitting in his car, talking to his wife lots, talking about his former "bad life" and asking for "redemption" with his best buddy and generally sending out orders via his mobile.

But yes, it's funny how GC has split a divide with the members here as to whether they think it looks decent or not. We'll hopefully find out one way or the other asap.

What is strange is that we are the only ones who are talking about and promoting the trailer. 365flix didn't post anything on their social media channels....sad....

Because they are idiots. Nuff said.
Oh yeah and that so-called "new" trailer looks pretty much the same as the old one to my eyes. No new content added?
