Flight Mh17 Shot Down In Ukraine

It's been a week ago since pro Russian seperatists shot down flight MH17. Almost 300 people were killed.
On that plane were 190 people from my country (Holland).

I think it's good that we open a thread for this and show some respect for the victims and the next of kin. Something that the seperatists did not show! For the first days they blocked every human from the crash site. They robbed all the bodies that where lying on the ground. So disrespectfull!

Yesterday in my country there was a national day of mourning. The first bodies arrived in Eindhoven Airport and I think the people from my country showed the world how WE deal with respect regarding humanity!

The one thing that is bothering me is President Putin. The world knows he is supporting the separatists and that he is delivering weapons to the separatists. Putin is not the blame directly for this attack but in my opinion he has blood on his hands. He also did not show respect to the victims. He is one of the most powerful people on earth. He should have said to his supporters in Ukraine to get away from the crashsite and let the aid agencies do their job!He should have send people to guard the crashsite and show the world that he DOES care about what happened. They should have put their problems aside for some period and let everyone who is needed at the crashsite do their job. These innocent people have nothing to do with your conflict. To me Putin showed the world that he is NOT the great leader he is called by Seagal!

That brings me to Seagal. It's very difficult for me that Seagal is friends with Putin and that he is impressed by Putin's leadership. A lot of people died and my greatest idol is friends with someone who is supporting this group of terrorists. I knew someone who was on that plane! I hope you understand this and I hope that Seagal will distance himself from Putin, because everything that Seagal is standing for in live (according to his religion and buddism) is not to reflect on his friend Putin, the so called great world leader.

May the victims rest in peace....

It was an incredible impressive day yesterday. The images of the planes arriving at Eindhoven airport with the first 40 bodies and the ceremony there gave everybody goosebumms.

The whole of Holland took one minute of silence at 16:00, i've never seen so much respect in my life before.

Here are some impressive images fom yesterday

298 people killed for nothing. A text on facebook yesterday made, for me at least, evident how pointless it was.
All day I asked who did it? Whas it the Isrealies, the Russians, the palestines, Al Queda? After a moment of silence my mother said, No it was humans. Humans kill humans.

Why do we as a species have that need to kill others? We are the most destructive species on this planet and if we are not carefull enough we will destroy ourselfs.

Peace
