I think Danny Trejo's role is quite small because according to his post on twitter on January 22nd he was already back from shooting with Seagal and was focusing on his next film.
You e-mailed Voltage Pictures and they replied? Hold the press!!!!

If the movie is in post-production now, no way promotion will wait almost a year. And the only promotion they need is a couple of picrures and a trailer. The pictures will propably be released soon, and the trailer sometime in June/August. But thats just my guess.
I got about 3 - 5 replies from them last year about Maximum Conviction, so it is not that amazing
According to a tweet from Bren Foster 2 weeks ago, the movie will be released in November.

Interesting news. Can't see why they would want to wait so long to release the film unless they know something we don't. I had thought they might release the film around the same time as Trejo's Machete Kills, which is due in September. After all Trejo is the only star in the film who is still due another cinema release and the film company may have wanted to captlitalise on this. Such a delayed release doesn't bode well for the film. If they had any something they were proud of and confident with they wouldn't be leaving it on the shelf all year. Seagal in particular doesn't have anything else being released this year so to leave the film till 2014 is going to do him no favours. I just hope the delay isn't to do reshoots and ADR because Seagal is notorious for not participating in that although his filming schedule is a lot less busy now than it was a few years back.
It might be good....

Thats right, thats why I'm glad my friends are still buying his films. That way I'm not waisting money.

Well i must be one of the silly ones then i will never BOYCOTT anything Steven Seagal wether it be his movies/music iam not well off by any means ...guess iam what i call an LOYAL fan..

That's part of the reason I come on here, so I find out what other people think before I waste money on a DVD that's not going to be any good.
I appreciate you're sentiment ORANGATUANG, but surely 'an LOYAL fan' is someone who doesn't just blindly follow no matter what the quality of the films Seagal makes but is someone who is willing to say when something he does is below the quality of what he is capable of?

Keep it friendly guys! No need to diss or bully people over their thoughts, feelings and opinions.
But I agree with Marky96 here. Most of us are very loyal fans and because we are loyal we should be able to speak our minds and 'warn' Seagal he is hurting instead of helping his career the way he is doing now.

So true. But to be hornest I dont think he will listen, mainly becouse he is way to stubborn and pigheaded, and thats whats destroying his career now. But hey its worth a shot.
