They should have hired Roel Reiné for this movie. Reiné worked already with Seagal, Trejo and Rhames. I'm not expecting much...

I am looking forward to this film and if Seagals going to make STV films then a good cast is needed and in this and MC he has good some good support roles

also for STV waxman is not a bad director but i would like someone different now and again

Van Damme is stuck with the same couple of directors recently has well

Steven Seagal will reunite with his Machete co-star Danny Trejo, but unfortunately, it’s not for The Expendables 3. According to Moviehole, the duo will re-team for the generically titled Forces of Execution. The film, which also stars Ving Rhames, is being called “a small step-up for Seagal. Like the last one – bigger budget, bigger co-stars and more attention is being paid to the scripts but also the action sequences.” Plot details have not been released, but I guarantee Seagal is some sort of ex-special forces operative with a ridiculously awesome name. I suppose this is good news for anyone that has tried to watch Seagal’s below average straight to DVD movies over the last five years years. The report also indicates that when it comes to The Expendables 3, “the sides are talking.” The Expendables 2 gave Jean Claude Van Damme a nice little career boost, but it appears these guys are content with doing low-budget action films (Seagal, Van Damme, Lundgren, Adkins….Cuba Gooding Jr.). Seagal’s latest outing, Maximum Conviction (co-starring Stone Cold Steve Austin) gets released on DVD/On Demand November 6th. Of course it’s in my Netflix queue .

Last seen going knife-to-knife in “Machete”, Danny Trejo and Steven Seagal have agreed to reunite for “Forces of Execution”, a new Keoni Waxman (“Maximum Security”) directed actioner that we’re told will likely get underway in the Winter.
The film, also set to feature Ving Rhames (“Piranha 3DD), is “probably what you’d call a small step-up for Seagal. Like the last one – bigger budget, bigger co-stars and more attention is being paid to the scripts but also the action sequences”, an insider tells us.
Seagal apparently had a great time working with Trejo on “Machete” and welcomed the opportunity to work together again.
No details on who will be kicking whose butt in the film, which is being pimped at AFM.
With rumblings that Seagal might also be a part of “The Expendables 3″ (“I believe the sides are talking”, we’re told), 2013 might be the year Casey Ryback starts cookin’ again.

Hmmmm 4 weeks I guess isnt that bad. Keoni waxman sure knows what hes doing. My guess is since he has Danny Treyo aboard, and possibly Ving Rhames. My guess is hes going to make this an even better movie than max con. I hope this is filmed somewhere new. My guess its maybe going to be in canada, But im hoping for a fresh start.

I would like to see something different and refreshing. When I saw The Keeper I was so happy because that had some nice colors. I feel that BTRH and MaxCon feel like the same movie as True Justice...

Will this going to be straight to dvd? Good to see Seagal & Trejo together for 3rd time. I also didn't like MaxCon so much..

Yes it probably goed straight to dvd. I can't think of a reason why this movie would go theatrical. Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames and Seagal are most stuck in dtv land.

I think the director should grow some balls with this one and make the budget at least 15 million I wanna see how he could make the movie look with about that. i mean isnt it as easy as getting 15 million to do a movie i mean why has he been sticking with 10 million and below? he needs to grow a pair and take a step forward.

Don't think it is the director that decided the budget. :) We have seen some great DTV efforts for similar costs, so budget is not the problem...

I hope Steven Seagal will loose some weight for this movie. He looked really really big in the last movie and it dosent suit him at all.

I second that... I like the idea of him working with Trejo over that Austin dude. let's pray for some weight loss and exp3 FFS
