Bren and Ron rocked the knife fight last night on Force Of Execution! Well, there was a chainsaw, shovel and crow bar involved too actually!

That's a wrap for the stunt team on Force Of Execution, a movie full of hard core fights. Thanks to all the performers for coming out!

I still stand by what I have been saying all along that Seagal will not have much screen time in this film. I think he and Danny Trejo will have smaller roles while most of the screen time will be shared by others like Ving Rhames. This seems to be confirmed by the small amount of time Seagal is spending on the set of what is already a worryingly short shoot and his absence from many of the set photos.

It is a shame in many ways as this is Seagal and Trejo's fourth film together and yet they have never actually shared much screen time. Seagal also does look thinner and more healthy and the beard does suit him. (It's certainly much better than the last time he tried one in that scene that doesn't even look like it belongs in Out of Reach).

Seagal and Trejo are also still the biggest draws and I fear with their roles limited the film will be less appealing to wider audiences outside the MMA scene. I agree that Seagal isn't the best actor but he does have a lot of charisma that comes thru on screen. Apart from a few examples like Dwayne Johnson and Steve Austin I don't find that many of the stars that have come up thru wrestling and MMA have that same screen presence, and find it hard to carry a film like this.

For those worried about the how long the shoot lasted

It had a longer shoot than PW and MC(look how they turned out)

pretty good IMO

For those who are worried about seagals 3 hours a day

He had 3 hours a day on set of UJ and ITS(look how they turned out)

pretty good and he had plenty of screen time

for those who are worried about lack of set pictures

how many set pictures did we get from PW,ITS,DTK,UJ and TK(Hardly any)

Yet they all turned out ok

My biggest worry is none of the above its weather his voice is dubbed, does he do his own fights and
is the story competent...if all them are yes ill be happy

Becouse he's sharing screentime with others dosent mean he dosent have much screetime in the movie. Who else would have more screentime that Seagal, Ving Rhames ?? HA HA HA HA that fat fool  Trust me Seagal will have more screetime than Rhames and Ben Foster put togheter, and Seagal IS the lead character, otherwise he wouldent have been mentioned in the the storyline.

If you go by screentime in terms of how many setphotos we have seen of Seagal, then Seagal still have more setphotos that fat Rhames. Seagal = more screetimes than Rhames and Foster, Seagal = Lead character.

A real mature post there Boyd. People don't like Seagal being called fat and yet it's ok to call other stars the same thing?

Woah, why are you calling him Fat Rhames? Steven is just as fat and I'm sure he doesnt need a stunt double to walk.

I agree. Steven is just as big as Rhames and at least Rhames isn't trying to convince everyone he's still a credible action hero.

Personally I'm not too concerned about measuring screen time; as long as there's no unnecessary voice dubbing and stunt doubles, that's good enough for me.

No voice doubles and no unnecessary stunt doubles is good enough for me too. I would rather Seagal have a lot less screen time but actually put it a decent performance.

Yes, I hope that we get some solid fight scenes with Seagal this time.

One thing I'm looking forward to: If I interpret some pictures correct, this time it could be that a (short) part of the story takes place in the desert. That would be pretty cool and something different.

The desert would be a cool and different setting.

I really don't think Seagal needs another film set in a prison.

The movie is in post-production which means we probably won't hear anything in the following 7 months...
