I thought it was just me,but someone else said others are having trouble with the speed of these forums,ie. it is running slow. Even my cursor needs time to catch up. It's frustating and time consuming.Anyone else got comments?I'm sure Craig will get it fixed if he can.

Yes, I am...
Storm, it is very, very slow! I thought it was my computer, I have been running a virus scan, and thought that it was the reason for the lagging...So far today, no viruses have been found, yay! I am sure we aren't the only ones having a problem...Craig, please help!

I have been having trouble with them running slow on/off,thought it was my computer. Also Craig has mentioned before that the size of photo attachments could slow things down?

I seem to recall in the early days that we posted a "what's new in the gallery" on the index page. Perhaps it would be better to post new photos directly to the gallery? We do have a lot of photo posting threads, and sometimes the photos take a really long time to load, even for me with high speed.

Craig did say something once - to my dim recollection - that it would be better to post photos as attachments rather than as links to their original sites. I think that's what he said, anyhow....

You are right !!! Problem is coming from this. I will not put photo in Forum Section. We are waiting too much for the opening photos.

I don't know about anyone else, but I've only been experiencing the problem since this past weekend. I've noticed slowness just going from one page to another or even trying to submit a post. I've even lost a few posts, as they would lock up in the submission, then just disappear.

It may very well be due to the photos, but I'm wondering if it has anything to do with any possible updates to the program since Craig was here last. Did anyone else have this problem before the weekend?

Is it always snowing there or something? Ha ha.It has been like this for a good few weeks Serena.Bandwidth of pics does take a bit extra time up,that's true, but it shouldn't slow down the forums anything like this.I have no probs on other sites, just here. I still can't work it out,but it's costing me and others a lot of time,as you have spent so much time reading and replying to posts.
I appreciate the time and hard work of Craig and the mods, just wish something could be done as there is a lot to get through!

It's slow at different times of the day. I find it slow in the morning which is I think -5 hours from Great Britain, so it could just be a traffic issue.
