Ghost Whisperer

Ghost Whisperer is a TV series created by John Gray, the director of The Glimmer Man (1996). It stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as a woman with the power to communicate with the spirits of the dead. It began on CBS in September 2005 and has quickly become one of the station's top rated shows. John Gray often writes and directs episodes himself.

In the UK the show has been airing on E4, where I have been lucky enough to see some episodes. I was pleasantly surprised and intend to follow the series more closely when it begins transmission on ABC1 in January next year.

With Seagal due to appear in the Christmas special of Two and a Half Men, I think this series would be a perfect candidate for Seagal to have a guest or recurring role in. He would be familar with the director and the series also explores several themes that have surfaced in other Seagal films.

What do people think of this idea? And what do those who have seen this series think of it?

Not a bad idea, Heather.
But the possibility is remote.
The "Texas Ranger" TV series isn't on any more.
God bless,

You're right Mama san Walker, Texas Ranger finished in 2001. However last year Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire premiered on CBS. This is intended to be the first in a series of Walker, Texas Ranger 'Movies of the Week'. It featured many of the original cast of the TV series (including Norris himself) in a new storyline and ended on a cliffhanger. Both Norris and CBS hope to continue the franchise with further installments in this way. If this happens then perhaps Seagal could guest star opposite Chuck Norris.

Apparently the Trial by Fire TV movie did not get the ratings that CBS had been hoping for and so no new Walker, Texas Ranger material has been filmed.
