Gutshot Straight Review thread:

Here is my review:

The movie itself is okay, good production for a DTV movie, and good acting. But besides that, nothing really special. Seagal has 4 scenes in it where one of them is an extended scene from the opening scene. It is actually the two scenes posted by J.Lucas in the Gutshot Straight thread. Dont expect Seagal to throw any punches or anything, his scenes are 99% dialouge. Must admit though, I really like his character, and his character got the name Paulie Trunks for a reason :p :D
Would wish that Seagal got more of these kind of roles, productions and budgets for his own movies, but with fight scenes and alot more screen time. He is born to play a mobster.

just seen it. i think for some reason that it is better than Seagals latest films. he seems more upbeat about playing his part than he did in A Good Man and a lot of his latest films. i also think the productions and locations for his Voltage films are some of the problems. his Voltage films are straight up boring.
