I went to see it today. For the type of film it was, it was relatively enjoyable, better than another bloody Friday the 13th sequel thats for sure. There were one or two effective jump scenes, some clever death scenes (the bit with the guy lying on the bed at the beginning,for instance) and certainly no end of blood and gore,to who that might appeal to
Plus Robert Englund was especially convincing as Freddy,managing to appear really eerie and scary.
On the flip side of the coin though, the film could have done with a better story and,it has to be said, the acting from the teen stars (Kelly Rowland et al) was atrociously bad.Still,as I said,not bad for the type of film it was.
What did everyone else think of it?
