What a wonderful sign of respect for Steven to take time out of his schedule to show up for this. I'm impressed. Remember when B.B. King had invited him to perform at the grand opening of his new nightclub? I think he has much respect for these great performers.

is it depends on his religion. It might not be tradition to wear black for his religion. In fact, i used to know a jewish kid who didnt wear black to a funeral. Everyone else did for the most part, and I asked him why and he said some explanation but i forgot. Anyway, that may be it, or i dunno... he didnt feel like it?

Thats not how it is for his religion. It may not be his religious beliefs to do so. It's not right to say something is disrespectful because its not in his religion. Why else would he not wear black? I would say that its because he doesnt own any black clothes... but i think we all thats not true.

But I am sorry, he does not look so good, he looks very pale, like he doesn't feel well...
But maybe it's just such a sad day for him, I can understand this...
He has lost a little weight, huh?
But weight is not important!

Wearing black is also out of respect for those who are in mourning. But I guess it could be that Buddhist side of Steven Seagal that prevented him from wearing such attire.
I think that SS was just saddenned by the occasion and that's why he doesn't look all that happy.

Purple is a mourning colour, and is correct for a funeral, if you are not in deep mourning, which, as a close relative he wouldn't be. Here in England, in victorian times, ladies in mourning spent the first year in black, the second in purple and then to mauve, before resuming normal colours.
Sorry to say, although it is so nice to see new pictures of him, I think he looks awful. Pale, tired and very bloated. Pale and tired could be because he has had a long flight or busy schedule, but the fat can't be blamed on anything other than his lack of determination to get into shape. His hair is a mess at the back, if he is going to wear it long then it needs to look good, not like he's been through a bad home perm, if he can't get it to hang nicely then he should go back to the shorter style with the little curls at the nape of his neck, that always looks good on him. I cannot believe how much he has let himself go in such a short time, I don't want to see him back too thin, just in better shape - 20 lb would do it, and I am sure his career would benefit from the lost pounds as well as his body.
