Upcoming "A good man", "Absolution".....Steven Seagal is sticked with Waxman in his video movies and seriously I'm getting bored.

To be fair, Waxman produced so far bad movies, bad directing, bad editing, etc. and I guess it will be the same for the upcoming projects.

Totally disagree about Waxman. Waxman is one the best dtv directors Seagal has ever worked. With Waxman on board his movies have never looked this good. Or you would prefer Michael Oblowitz, Michael Keusch.

About the boring part....I could agree.

I think his first two movies (“The Keeper” and “A Dangerous Man”) are entertaining overall. Unfortunately, I think “Maximum Conviction” and “Force of Execution” are pretty bad and boring movies. Both don’t have the good action from “A Dangerous Man” and both lack the nice optical from “The Keeper”. It also looks like this movies did have a smaller budget than the ones before. On top of this comes that FOE even is not really a Seagal movie, it was almost unwatchable for me. The lack of action didn’t help either.

I don’t have a problem if he has smaller roles in big movies like in “Machete”, but in his own produced movies he should be the lead.

The second season of True Justice started decent, but got very confusing and boring after “Angel of Death”.

My expectations for the next two movies are very low at the moment. My only hope is that he asks Sly for a role in Expendables.

No of course, Oblowitz and Keusch movies were terrible.

I see it in that way: Oblowitz and Keusch movies were very bad, Waxman movies are bad. Maybe he is one of the best directors of Steven Seagal DTV movies but he is a bad director of DTV movies.

I think that Roel Reiné is much better. And anyway, Steven Seagal should think to work with other directors. Whay not Peter Hyams?
