Question for all you believing in GOD and Life after Death in Heaven or whatever.

I mean a lot of people (me too) try to do their best in life. Try to help people in needs, try to be a good human and so on. But we all made faults, and we all, in some situations, don't act like the bible tells us...

What do you think will be important for judging us after life??! How perfect do we have to be in life, and how much good things do we have to do, to end up in heaven? What do you mean?

Hi Hofmae.

I belive in live after dead.
But i don`t think there is someone or some thing that will punisch us.
Why? I study parapsychology and when we are going to die we go to a good place.
And when you are not finish your live, you go back for an other live.
Well its difficult for me to explane it in english. In dutch it is so much easier.

There is no life after death, Hofmae. Just dirt before and dirt after. And in some cases, dirt in between.

I prayed for Gods help in how to answer your questions. Gods word is the only best answer. I have an analogy and some questions to toss back also....

In every country near and far, to each has laws. Break the laws and you find yourself standing before a judge answering for your crimes. The same holds true for Gods laws.(Revelation 20:12&13) also Hebrews 9:27"It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgement."

In man kinds courts of law when a person is proven to be guilty, does the person go unpunished? In a just court, no.

Gods laws are the TEN COMMANDMENTS. According to the bible we are not to break ONE of these laws. Answer to yourself how you fared to just a few of these laws:
Thou shall not kill, Thou shall not steal, thou shall not covet(wish you had what others have), thou shall not commit adultery(that includes lusting in your mind for someone who is not your spouse), Thou shall not use the Lords name in vein(swearing using Gods name), Honor thy mother and father,........

Did you get a perfect score? No. Neither did I. Why? Because since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, no one has been able to keep Gods laws.
Gods answer: He sent His Son Jesus as a living sacrifice for our sins. The bridge. He filled the gap between Heaven and earth. A free gift. All we have to do is confess our sins and repent, trust in Him.

Man wants us to believe we can get to heaven by being a good person, doing good works. Good works are a showing of our will to be like Christ. To live as Jesus did. But that alone can't get us to heaven.
None are righteous: "As it is written, there is NONE righteous, no not one." Romans 3:10 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."Romans 3:23.
Man tries to create his own righteousness."For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God."Romans 10:3

Back to the courts analogy....if you stood in front of a judge and if was proven you were guilty, would you expect that judge to let you go unpunished? Do you think God would be any different?

Are you asking, whats the point? Why try to be like Christ if there is no way to be good enough? God knew we couldn't keep all the laws so he sent his Son Jesus.
Gods answer I found in scripture:
"For HE (God) hath made HIM (Jesus) to be sin for US, who knew no sin; that WE might be made the righteousness of God in HIM."~2 Corinthians 5:21 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the JUST for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened(made alive) by the spirit."~1Peter 3:18
"For CHRIST is the end of the law for righteousness to EVERYONE that BELIEVETH...That if thou shalt CONFESS with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved...for WHOSOEVER shall CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD shall be SAVED."~Romans 10:4,9,13

With love and respect,
Jules

Well, I think the important thing will be is why did Seagull lie about being a reincarnated buddha?

Why did he bugger Kelley LeBrock?

Why did he do a series of gay Japanese porn movies in his youth?

Hey Hofmae
well it's such an important question uve raised..
Hofmae...no one is perfect, but we do our best in life, never expect anything in return, why? bcz deep inside we believe our good deeds won't be lost or just gone with the wind...and at the same time it does "satisfy" us, satisfy our human nature, the pure man deep in u.
I believe there is a life after death, and i believe we will be rewarded after all. Life is not always fair, but God is ALWAYS fair...so keep doing what ur doing Hofmae...bcz sooner or later ull be rewarded, and trust me a single reward in that life equalls life with all it's pleasures.......bcz this one is TEMPORAL, while the other is PERMENANT, FOREVER.....
That's still a very personal opinion which i liked to share with u Hofmae..and of course with every single member in this dear site.
Wish every one the best in life and happiness in both lives.
yours
