Take it all into perspective ... keep your cool and then jump if necessary.

I don't see what the problem is really. It's ebay and it's very unlikely that any lawsuit will follow. Why would Steven Seagal be paid again for something that he received money for already? ... it's not like the copy is being sold at a greater price than the original retailer's suggested price (which would be illegal ... nothing illegal here).

BTW ... the first picture you see is of a Black Belt magazine featuring Steven Seagal and not a picture of the "Path Beyond Thought" dvd cover eventhough that is what the person is put up to resell.

What that dude is doing on ebay is no different from anyone else selling Seagal movies, or anyone else's movies for that matter.

Don't know why people are upset about it. And if he was able to be sued, no one would sell on ebay.

The guy on ebay can be sued, wanna bet? Steamroller is Steven's prod. company, no-one has the right to make copies of that stuff and sell without his or Philip Goldfine's permission, they are entitled to the money from the sales of The Path Beyond Thought, not some guy on ebay, it isn't their work it's his...
his kids are having food taken out of their mouth because of that sh*t, and meanwhile he's working himself to death...
It's just not fair to him, and I hope someone sees that it gets taken off of there...
He's probably so laid back that he wouldn't mind, but still...

Do you think it's any different than stealing?
He deserves to get paid for it...

right or wrong, copying and/or selling anything that is coopyright protected, like this movie, is against the law. Anyone that buys this material contribute too this. The seller is a criminal and the buyer is unethical.

That's right...So that means it's WRONG to do it....I admit I have bought knock off purses and stuff myself, thinking well, I'm only buying...But if no-one buys then no-one can sell it, right? I heard they are going to start prosecuting people who buy them, because if there is no demand for such things the supply will dwindle...That is why even though I was tempted, I didn't buy the promo CD on ebay, I figured it was the same thing...
It is breaking the law, and stealing from Steven...

Resale ain't a crime.

It's not that illegal to buy or sell knock-offs, unless those knock-offs have the original brand name stamped on them. For example, the fake 'Rolexes' do not have Rolex on them but rather Rolix or something totally different. The face plate may look the same, but the selling price is approximately 100 times less to that of the original, and with things like that, there are too many ways to tell, but no lawsuits would be won that way.

And how do you know that they guy who's selling those 'copies' on eBay did not actually buy those as originals?

It's a black market. Just try and find somebody to sue and you'll be in a totally different situation just looking for trouble.
