I liked Jan Michael Vincent as well; my favourite was the TV series Airwolf. It is very sad that he couldn't overcome his addiction to alcohol that ruined his career.

Well I don't know about the addiction thing, but I try to FOCUS on the positive things Jan-Michael Vincent has accomplished and is accomplishing such as a remake of his film "The Mechanic", and I get much better results ;)

Airwolf was and is definately a nice piece of work for JMV

Jan-Michael Vincent definitely did fail to bring his addiction under control.

I have not heard anything about him being connected with the remake of The Mechanic (1972) in which he starred alongside Charles Bronson. The new film will be directed by Simon West who also directed Con Air (1997), The General's Daughter (1999) and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). The remake will star Jason Statham and Donald Sutherland. A trailer can be found here: http://www.movies.spoilertv.com/2010/03/mechanic-official-trailer-starring.html

I also enjoyed seeing Jan-Michael Vincent in Airwolf, one of my favourite TV shows from the 1980s. My personal favourite of his films is The Undefeated (1969) starring John Wayne and Rock Hudson. However it was also amusing to see him, when he had fallen from grace in the 1990s, in the erotic thrillers Indecent Behaviour (1993) starring Shannon Tweed, Sins of Desire (also 1993) starring Delia Sheppard, and Animal Instincts (1992) again starring Sheppard, along with David Carradine, John Saxon and Shannon Whirry who starred with Seagal in Out for Justice (1991). How would you rate his performances in these films Donald Lee Wilkey?

I agree it would be nice if Seagal and Vincent were able to star together in an action film or perhaps an erotic thriller, a genre Seagal has not yet ventured into.

Interesting observation there marky96. Erotic thriller would be a good teaming for Seagal and Vincent. Perhaps, Catherine Zeta-Jones would be the femme fatale in this teaming as well?

Sounds good Donald Lee Wilkey, though some of Seagal's female co-stars from his previous films could work well too.

Agreed ! I'd love to see Brenda Bakke team back up again with Steven Seagal in an erotic thriller. Maybe Jan-Micahel Vincent could be the BUTLER?

There are several of Seagal's co-stars who I think would work well in an erotic thriller starring him and Jan-Michael Vincent:

Out for Justice (1991) - Gina Gershon, Shannon Whirry or Athena Massey
Under Siege (1992) - Erika Eleniak
Exit Wounds (2001) - Jill Hennessy (& her twin sister!) or Eva Mendes
Ticker (2001) - Jaime Pressly (& her new boobs!)
Out for a Kill (2003) - Michelle Goh or Kata Dobó
Belly of the Beast (2003) - Sara Malakul Lane or Elidh MacQueen
Into the Sun (2005) - Juliette Marquis
Submerged (2005) - Christine Adams or Alison King
Black Dawn (2005) - Tamara Davies
Mercenary for Justice (2006) - Faye Peters
Shadow Man (2006) - Eva Pope
Flight of Fury (2007) - Ciera Payton
The Keeper (2009) - Liezl Carstens
A Dangerous Man (2009) - Marlaina Mah

I can definately understand your opinion and point of view concerning 'OTHERS' addictions

But my observations of Jan Michael Vincent's success has to do with his endurance through his own ordeals

Agreed, Steven Seagal has so many different formats/options/routes and too many more to mention for the moment, you, myself, and others just Name them........available to continue honing and expanding his gifts and talents(IT'S JAW DROPPING AND AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! to contemplate them   )
