Saw it. Just said that British director Ken Annakin will be directing.
Same as IMDB.

i looked up this guy today on imdb and he seems to be out of touch as he as not directed a flim since 1988

Seems like Steve is continuing working with low profile directors. Man, I would kill for him to work with Andrew Davis or Andrezj Bartkowiak again.
Hell, after two clunkers with Oblowitz I'd settle for him to work with Don Michael Paul again.

This has got to be a joke..There is no way this Ken Annakin should be directing any 40 million dollar epic on Khan..
If this is the case I would kill to have him work with Oblowitz again..I dont think he could have found a worse director for Khan anywhere else on this planet..
If it is true that he will be directing Khan I cant see it being a 40 million dollar budgeted movie anymore-maybe more along the lines of 10 million or so..
I wanted to see him make Ghenghis Khan originally but with this guy directing--no way..Do anything else and forget Khan completely..

Look at his resume and have you ever heard of him--and he's about 90 so if he had ever done anything memorable someone would have heard of him..
If he does this I believe we will be wishing for the good old days of Oblowitz again

I mean look at this guys resume: his last film was called " The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking" and was made in 1988(yep, 2 decades ago).
All I can say is that Seagal must have lost a big bet with Saturday Night Live or Comedy Central to be making a film with this lug..
THIS HAS GOT TO BE A JOKE-SOMEONE PLEASE SAY THIS IS A JOKE..
Maybe Pee Wee Herman will be directing Under Siege 3 at this rate..

Have a little faith, mate.

I didn't like China getting involved. this makes it look like no good director wants anything to do with it. Pippi Longstockings, this has to be somebody's joke.

I Belong To Steven
Didn't Oliver Stone pass away a few years ago?
I am probably mistaken, and hopefully so because I think he's done some good stuff...
I am sure Steven likes to give these other folks a chance, I am thinking that maybe he doesn't really like the 'big wig' directors...
I don't know anything about directing though...
Maybe he should direct all his own films...
I wish him great success in all his endeavors, that's all I really know...:)
