Last Seagal movie you watched?

Hard to say. Depends what you mean by best. For me it's gotta be one of his wackier ones like Kill Switch or A Good Man.

Got done watching Urban Justice. The ending felt a little abrupt, but honestly the action scenes were badass, and Danny Trejo made an appearance. Overall I was very satisfied with this movie.

It was an abrupt ending, true.
But the tale was done. He had one aim: get revenge. Kill the bad guys who did his son in. When that was over, so was the tale. I like an economy of runtime for movies like this.

Yeah. That was an aspect I liked too. They really stuck to the idea that he's just there to avenge his son's death. No Mr. Nice Guy stuff. No direct crime fighting. He just goes in and kicks ass.

So, I rewatched Clementine for the first time in a long while. Despite only having a Seagal cameo, I think the movie itself isn't bad at all if you don't mind the drama.

I liked Seagal in Clementine. It was a cool role and something different for him. He was present, looking pretty fit still, and showed a lot of speed in the ring as a cage fighter. They cut in long shots where a stand-in was used, so that detracts a bit, but for the up-close work he's there and clearly very agile. He even takes quite a few hits!

I rewatched Pistol Whipped the other day. I like that one for the strong supporting cast, being shot stateside with improved production values, and seeing Seagal play a troubled, less than perfect character was a nice change of pace. He also has a couple decent fights too. I have a sentimental fondness for this one too since Summer of '08 was when I really went through my Seagal fandom awakening (though I've always liked him, I specifically sought out everything of his that summer) and this was the newest Seagal release at the time. I got this DVD 07/17/08 and that was the same summer I discovered this very forum and began taking Aikido and the rest is history.

Yep! great film, another one of his best DTV. Great cast, good fights & locations.

I know! It's probably his best of the DTV-era. Which is what I was saying just a few posts ago.

Urban Justice is my favorite Seagal film behind Under Siege and Glimmer Man. Him kicking the guy in the balls like 10 times in a row near the end of the film is a classic Seagal beatdown.
