PHOENIX, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Two of Hollywood's elite actors, Halle Berry and Billy Crystal, as well as golf legend Jack Nicklaus will be honored at Celebrity Fight Night IX on Saturday, March 15, 2003 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. Muhammad Ali will present the honorees with the awards. Academy Award winning actress and producer Halle Berry will receive "The Muhammad Ali Entertainer Award," actor, producer, director and six-time Emmy Award winner, Billy Crystal will receive "The Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award" and golf legend and leading golf designer Jack Nicklaus will receive "The Muhammad Ali Sports Legend Award." Larry King will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Headlining the star-studded evening is Hall of Fame inductee Rod Stewart along with special performances by multi-platinum recording artists Kenny Rogers and Reba McEntire, R & B recording artist Eric Benet, country music sensation Lee Greenwood with Grammy award-winning producer David Foster as the musical director.

The Celebrity Fight Night Foundation established The Muhammad Ali Awards as a way to acknowledge leaders in the sports, entertainment and business communities who best represent the qualities associated with the Champ and his fight to find a cure. In recent years, Michael J. Fox, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana, Chris Evert, and Jerry Colangelo have received these awards. Additional award recipients have included Randy Johnson, Curt Schilling and Luis Gonzalez of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks, Bob Emfield and Tony Margolis, Founders of Tommy Bahama and Jeff Mallett, COO of Yahoo! Each year dozens of celebrity guests attend the event that has raised more than $12 million in total.

Celebrity Fight Night Foundation is a non-profit organization that was established in 1994 and has been supporting the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Research Center at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Childhelp USA and several other local charities.
