When former black ops operative TOM STEELE (Seagal) and his partner MANNING (Austin) are assigned to decommission an old prison, they must oversee the arrival of two mysterious female prisoners. Before long, an elite force of mercenaries assault the prison in search of the new arrivals. As the true identities of the women are revealed, Steele realizes he's caught in the middle of something far bigger than he had imagined.

Thank you for sharing, glad to see news about a new film at last after the TV work.

Just noticed Steve Austin is the co-star, well that's interesting.. Might give the film a little more attention.

Sounds great! Thanks. Finally some news. Now I hope this will get a decent budget. Waxman knows how to make a movie look good (The Keeper)

Finally Seagal is doing something other than the awful True Justice TV series and this looks like it could have some potential.

Ironically although both Voltage Pictures and Keoni Waxman are involved with True Justice, both have been slowly improving the quality of their output when it doesn't involve Seagal. For example, Voltage Pictures are behind the multi Oscar winning The Hurt Locker (2008) and the award winning The Whistleblower (2010) starring Rachel Weizs, Vanessa Redgrave, Monica Bellucci and William Hope (who starred with Seagal in Submerged (2005)). Waxman meanwhile has made Hunt to Kill (2010) with Steve Austin, which was a vast improvement on the his last collaboration with Seagal, A Dangerous Man in 2009.

Steve Austin himself should also bring some positive credibility to the project having starred in the cinema releases The Condemned (2007) and of course The Expendables (2010), plus a number of well received DTV action thrillers since his turn to full time acting. These include Damage (2009) directed by Jeff King, The Stranger (2010), the aforementioned Hunt to Kill, and Tactical Force (2011) co-starring Michael Jai White. Austin also has a full slate of upcoming films including Recoil (2011) c0-starring Danny Trejo and The Package (2012) with Dolph Lundgren.

I agree I though hunt to kill was a decent STV film and better than DM(whch i thought was ok) and TK(which was slow and boring)

also Voltage are making bigger and better films like Frozen Ground with Nic Cage and Joh Cusack and with a 35M budget
and Company You Keep with robert redford which has a 40M budget

i also thought the TJ series was OK when its seen has a series and not DVD films put out in the wrong order...not great but decent

that said i prefer films to Tv work anyway so im glad and this film sounds more intresting the previous STV work

hopefuly it be better than Van Dammes recent STV work like Assassination Games which was so boring it was untrue

I decided to delete my previous response to Mr. Stern, as it occurred to me that it is not worth my time to respond to people so jealous of Steven and what he has accomplished.

All of us that come here regularly are his TRUE fans, and that is the ONLY people I shall respond too....

Being big boned does not necessarily means that you cant perform the tecniques propably. Look at Sammo Hung, he is larger than Seagal weight wise, but a brilliant martial artist. Seagal is still the best in my opinion :)
