Y'all are missing the point. The reason the trailer is important is that this is supposed to be Seagal's big comeback movie, since it looks like ti has a lot of potential to be good and it's got a chance of getting a cinematic release. But for that to happen the film needs to be promoted, and it needs a trailer. THAT's why we need a trailer. Personally, i don't usually watch trailers, but i want this one to come out foe the aforementioned reasons.

They are taking their time with the postproduction which is a good siqn I think. And i wouldent say that they havent promoted the movie, they have released images and talked a little bit about it in interviews, but it dosent have the promotion of a worldwide theatrical release, which I also dont think it will be getting. Maby a limited theatrical release.
I would also like a release date of the movie and then we might get a trailer a month or two weeks before the movie will be released, but a couple of months before the release, no way, that wont happen.

Anyway, I'm staying positive untill I'v seen the movie

I can understand people was negative at the first confirmation from April when they did said literally sometime late April. Back then they did not say maby or should be, but this time they did say should be and that means possibly (as in nothing is for certain). People in here has to learn to read between the lines sometimes, it will come in handy at times like this in the long run

Look my comrade USSF members, Chief Steven Seagal has been everywhere, and he hasn't been gone from the silver screen. Heck I consider the Seagal dtv/tv/straight to dvd regime eons way better than the Hollywood Box Office/Silver Screen realms. Remember he's busy protecting 'real lives' aside from making movies for us. We ought to be damned lucky he's even making movies for us to watch his expertise at establishing the Millenial Movie Hero of our age and eras to come! Ain't nobody from Seagal's neighboring list of actors gonna de-throne Seagal's impressive history of Mega Action Star of the small and big screens. Besides, what do you have to do thats better than waiting for Chief Seagal's presence on your plasma tv set or at your local movie bejou?

I think this has got the chance to be Seagal's best film in years. And being honest I prefer it if it was a DTV because then I can sit and watch Seagal in the comfort of my own home... However with that being said It would be EPIC to see Seagal back on the big screen!!!

I agree Paul. In the comfort of your own home plus its alot cheaper and I thnk alot of celebrities are making DTV because people can't afford to got the movies anymore they're sooo expensive. This way too I can watch it over and over and over and rewind the good spots.

You don't know what you are talking about.

Firstly, I do not expect Maximum Conviction being released theatrically in Europe.

BUT From this report I can judge that the deal includes the theatrical rights and what is crucial - in the past there were no theatrical rights included in the deal (for example in the case of Born To Raise Hell etc.). Only Home entertainment companies were present.

Secondly, in terms of distributors IMDB is absolutely ok, reliables source, because the data are updated by the movie companies in this section.

I really don't understand why you continue posting stuff like this.

I e-mailed Voltage a lot in the past. Never got an answer. So I am not going to do that.
The problem is that they promised a trailer at the end of April and now it's almost June.
The best thing Voltage could have done was just say nothing about the trailer release. They say end of April, no trailer at that time. Now everyone is pissed....

For a DTV movie they are surely taking their time with it. Its just like the other Seagal DTV movies. The postproduction lasts forever and when they finally release a trailer, the interest in the movie has dropped 90% and it turns out to be just another standard DTV Seagal movie. This one will be just like the others, nothing special.

I deffenetly hope you're wrong, on the other hand I have a feeling that you might be right.
