Merry Christmas everyone!

Well I left out a Oreo cookie, a slice of cheese, a bag of candy & milk for Santa...so that way while he stood there eating he would leave more! It worked! Except he left the candy!

Well I have to wish everyone a late Merry Christmas, it is
a good thing that I decided to register here at the office, sure
none of you are aware but a storm kinda like a tornada but
was just the strong wind past over Houston last Mon. night 23rd.
We had a lot of damage , trees down HUGE OLD PINE TREES
they were completely uprooted, never saw anything like it in my
life, we had a lot of yard damage no fence anymore, and the
shinkles to my roof were in my swimming pool. Worse thing is it is
now Mon. 30th and we still have no electricity. we stayed home
Christma eve, but at 7:am. when we took my son to airport was
30 degrees very cold for Houston so we have been living in
a hotel (similar to the one you stayed in Casey). We have to
be close to the House because of all the repairmen insurance
adjuster etc. But after we saw some of the other homes we feel
very lucky no one was hurt and things can always be repaired just
not exactly the way I had planned for Christmas. So I will just
wish everyone an extra special HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Pat,
I'm so very, very glad to hear that you and your family are OK!
I was watching it on the radar! It was fearsome to watch! I can't imagine what you all went through!
Continue to stay safe my friend!

Smile dammit!
Aggie, that's very unlucky. I hope your house is made habitable again soon.
I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself as i have a torn muscle and stomach pains. Xmas has passed me by. I can't drink, sleep or eat and going out is pointless as i walk like a constipated bull!#
Anyway, all the best for the new year to you all.....

Aggie,

I hope everything is going okay now. We were with family in Northwest Houston that night and it was a scary place to be!! Made me wish for Dallas. It was a real trip to see the sky lit up like afternoon at 10pm and have that greenish tornado sky. Sending you good thoughts to deal with all those Texas insurance adjusters. I guess wind damage beats black mold:rolleyes:

Storm,

I think I'd stay away from that plunger!!:D We have a product here in Dallas that would probably fix up those stomach pains pretty fast. It is called go-lytely (what a name). As for the torn muscle all I can think of is a good cold beer and a good looking massage therapist!! Hope you're better soon.
