Tom Cruise Starts Shooting M:I-3
Source: Associated Press July 12, 2005

Tom Cruise started shooting scenes for Mission: Impossible 3 in Rome on Tuesday by whizzing past the camera in a speedboat (view image) on the river Tiber near Castel Sant'Angelo, reports the Associated Press. Cruise reprises his role as Special Agent Ethan Hunt in the third installment.

Several scenes in the movie are set in Rome. After filming a motorboat chase on the Tiber, shooting will move near St. Peter's Square and in the area around the Trevi Fountain.

The action-thriller will also film in other parts of Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Mission: Impossible 3 is directed by J.J. Abrams (ABC's Lost and Alias), and is produced by Cruise and his partner, Paula Wagner.

Ving Rhames, Laurence Fishburne, Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Michelle Monaghan, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Maggie Q co-star in the Paramount film, scheduled for release on May 5, 2006.

I really haven't seen any of them that I could recall, but I'll probably watch them all before I check this one out.

I thought Tom was wearing fake hair, but I guess that is someone behind him. Katie ?

Any member who starts a thread leaves the door open for the subject to stray from time to time...however,
Tom Cruise is the star of the latest Mission Impossible movies & there were previous ones & all I have seen are our comments about those topics..

So Why start a thread if we can't post our comments and opinions!!!!!!!

I didnt say that people cant post their coments, just tone it down a little in terms of provoking coments .. this is my thread & I decide if people should highjack it or not. As soon as a few people starts to talk down on an film the rest of the people who have the same opinion joins in & that creates chaos & that is not what this thread (or any other thread for that matter) is for. So if you are going to say things like .. I hate Mission Imposible or (Kat's provoking coment) I dispise Tom Cruise .. then take it to another thread couse I wont have that in my thread. In my thread I dicides what should be happening or not, & if you cant respect that then stay out of here ..

Now for the thing that this thread is really about!!!

Variety says Paramount Pictures will film Mission: Impossible 3, directed by J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias) and starring Tom Cruise, in Shanghai for up to a month in November. The film's climactic final scenes will apparently be shot in the cultural capital of China.

The trade says the country will also be used for a fair proportion of the pre-production work, some plate shots and other second unit work.

The $150 million sequel, also starring Ving Rhames, Laurence Fishburne, Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Michelle Monaghan, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Maggie Q, will be released on May 5, 2006.

I agree Mason that chaos & arguing isn't good on the forum-or anywhere :)
But I did have a thread some time back explaining that once a member starts a thread on the forum it isn't all "theirs" anymore...it is shared by all the members. Afraid you can only close or delete it,not say what is posted, that comes under the adminstrators job
