New Book on Seagal!

I'm not very familiar with Vern's work just read a tiny bit on the web just to see if I like his style so it's mainly down to your recomendation fakeshemp - can you stand that responsibility?

Hey Orangatuang it's the time of year to ask Santa for one - that is if you've been good!

Fakeshemp you took the responsibility well! I've just read the chapter on Flight of Fury as that is the film I most recently rented and thought it was bad (although I did watch it 3 times just to be sure!) Vern explains a few things which enlightened me as to why Mr Seagal makes some bad movies and I did laugh so much at times that my laptop was in danger of falling off my lap! Perhaps I should have been patient and ordered a hardcopy rather than a download.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, Sue. It's one of the best books I've read in ages and like you I like to jump to read about a particular film that I've just seen. You should get a copy of the softcover at some stage, it really is worth owning. Besides, we can't have you risking breaking your laptop, can we?

Shame I'm not working as one of Santa's helpers this year otherwise I could ask him to be leanient with you!

Will be reading the chapter on The Glimmerman next because that is on TV here on Monday. Will be interesting to know what to expect from it and I'm sure it'll all be a good read, I might get a proper copy one day.

Dont worry girl i will get around to it one day iam not in any hurry i would rather see his movies first...so how many pages in it?.. 1 or 2 ?..see said i was in an stirring mood..

Oh Orangatuang you were in a snippy mood, would be very small writing if there were only 2 pages there are over 300 pages. Not read many of them yet but I am enjoying what I have read.

I'd love to read an official bio but will he ever authorise one?

An official authorised bio might be useless unless he was prepared to allow the complete truth to be told about his life, and I suspect that's highly unlikely. I have no interest in reading a whitewashed account of his life.

I agree but perhaps when he's really old he might allow it. I'd quite like to read a book about his philosophies on life and comments on the world, I think that would be quite inspiring.

Just read the following at Vern's site....

The clock is seriously ticking on that super-rare first edition of Seagalogy. The contract is in the mail and as soon as they tell me they received it I gotta pull the plug. So this is your last chance to get the book until later next year. Like sands through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives.
