Yes thats cool, but i hope he will come back to Switzerland... I mean, i really asking myself about this crappy management. Arena Geneve with 8000 places? Com'on guys, what do you want??? There are so much small, nice places in Switzerland, popular places with 1000-2000 places, but why 8000 places? Its just to big... And i've they want to fill 8000 places they have to do PROMOTION. But if i would not be a Seagal-Fan, i would never heard of his musical career, never!

From: BBC-Leicester:

Seagal postpones Leicestershire concert
Hollywood film star Steven Seagal has cancelled his European tour, which included a date in Leicestershire. He was due to play at Market Harborough Leisure Centre on 23 September 2006, but fans will now have to wait until January 2007...

Steven Seagal is best known for playing action heroes in films like 'Under Siege' and 'Out for Justice.'

What's less well known though is that he also plays the guitar and sings blues music with his band, Thunderbox.

Steven was booked to play four UK dates to mark the release of this second album, 'Mojo Priest.'

But his management now say that the interest in his tour was greater than expected, so they've cancelled all the dates, and have arranged a larger tour in the New Year.

BBC Radio Leicester’s Chris Highton had a chat with Mad Hatter Concerts’ Dave Allen, who booked Steven to play in Market Harborough…

The new date for the Harborough concert is 20 January 2007.

Dave says that whilst he can understand that fans are disappointed that they will not see Steven for a few more months, he thinks the concert is worth waiting for:

"Listening to sample tracks from the new album, 'Mojo Priest', it's absolutely superb.

And we've spoken to a guy by the name of JJ Gilmore who's been on the American leg of the tour with Steven Seagal, and he says the band is absolutely phenomenal."

Dave says that all tickets that have already been purchased for the September concert will be valid for the new date in January.

Ticket refunds are also available from Mad Hatter Concerts until 01 October 2006.

Seagal postpones Bilston date
Hollywood action movie star Steven Seagal has been forced to postpone his world tour, which includes a date in Bilston. The actor had been set to appear at the town’s Robin 2 on September 20 with his band Thunderbox but this week his management announced dates would have to be rescheduled.

All tickets for his two shows will now be valid for concerts on January 18.

The evening show has sold out and there are only limited tickets left for the afternoon gig.

A spokesman for Seagal said: “Due to the overwhelming response throughout the world for Steven Seagal and his band Thunderbox to perform, we are rescheduling dates to a time period which will allow us to add many more.

“The tour will begin in January of 2007 and run through the month of February.”

Seagal has starred in and produced more than 20 films, including the multi-million dollar grossing movie Under Siege, and is renowned for his martial arts skills. His Bilston date is his only show in the Midlands.

Thank you very much for the information Suzi!!!
But will this mean that there won't be concerts in The Netherlands or Belgium next year??? Or do they still have to arrange that???

I hope you have an answer for me, because I really don't know if the concert in belgium will continue this year...

Hi Suzi, do you know, or could you find out if Steven will be coming to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, or anywhere near, if not I'll have to try & get tickets for the Market Harborough concert as I have never seen Steven live & it would make my world to see him!!!

I rang Ticketweb this morning (www.ticketweb.co.uk) - the official tickets sales agency for The Underground, Camden, London, and said that I had heard that Steven Seagal was cancelling his European tour, they told me that, as far as they were concerned, it wasn't cancelled and that the concert was a sell-out (500 tickets sold). I then received an email this evening from them, stating that the concert HAS been cancelled and I would receive a full refund.

Obviously, I am very disappointed as this was a sell-out concert, and I do not understand why he has cancelled this at such short notice. I will be emailing his official website in a minute to register my disappointment. I wonder if anyone knows why he has cancelled his concert, when it was a sellout?

Yours in the Dharma,
zenswim

Are You sure it's cancelled?

As far as we know only the Belgium, France and Swiss concerts are truly cancelled (lack of ticket sales) but other concerts are still on although they are probably postponed untille january/february 2007.

I received word from De Boerderij (the Dutch venue) and it stated that the concert has been postponed to a to be determined date.

And e-mailing the official site is useless, both e-mail adresses aren't operational yet.

Peace

Just had contact with De Boerderij (Dutch venue), and they told me that the dates of 2 and 3 October have been cancelled as well. Originally Steven was to play on September 18 and 19, then it was moved to October 2nd and 3rd, and now those have been cancelled as well and are to be moved to a date around the beginning of February, according to the Boerderij-employee I spoke with.

Bummer guys, but we'll have to wait another couple of months.
