Lol I had to log in just to comment on this.
I highly highly highly highly highlyyyy Doubt!!!!!! That its going to be a sequel to the foreigner.
There already was a sequel to The Foreigner, Black Dawn, and they're both awful.
Unfortunately there are still no news around....
I think Ferretti is on Facebook but I don't know if it's ok if I contact him there and ask him if he has some infos?
Benjamin Sacks don't know about the movie neither.
Also no announcements on any production site so far...Hannibal for example already lists some other movies in pre-production, but no word about this so far.
I hope this is a real Seagal action movie...
Yup, it was mentioned at Vern's SeagalFest:
http://www.outlawvern.com/2014/06/20/verns-cinefamily-journal/
Editor Robert A. Ferretti, who worked with Seagal on Out for Justice, Under Siege and On Deadly Ground - as well as Out for a Kill, Today You Die and Mercenary for Justice, is doing "Foreign and Domestic" with him next.
It's quite a good title, but I'm guessing it might be rephrased/changed for foreign audiences, as it comes from quite a specific saying "all enemies, foreign and domestic", which - and I don't know - may not be translated directly into foreign equivalents. Honestly, I think it's a bit smart for a Seagal title (as in, the Studios he works with prefer dumb titles) so I suspect it'll get renamed Enemy Kill, or A Dangerous Kill, or A Good Kill or some stupid sh*t like that.
I quite enjoyed BLACK DAWN, but it suffered from having no Seagal fight scenes (I counted one 'neck chop' ....and the rest were bad stunt doubles)Did you have to mention BD, I was so happy I didn't remember that....now I do again. The only decent thing about that movie was the music and even that wasn't to great.
Peace
This is a long shot I know but could FAD be http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2103237/
1.Its filming in Alabama in August
2.Its a Hannibal Pictures film
3.McTiernan was involved with Pellicano like Seagal
4.The plot of Red Squad could easily be called Foreign and Domestic
5.Its said to have an Ensemble cast(I read that there are 7 main people in the mercenaries team on the script) and maybe Seagal will take a support role
Its just a guess but it would be nice to see Seagal work with a legend director like that
