Steven Seagal plays a very important role in the film, and the script was written especially for him.
He has several fight scenes in the film, without a stunt double, and you can see him in full size performing aikido moves.

Best Regards

As I said before, a lot of love for Seagal in this project:

If David Michael Frank is composing the score, Seagal is the frontman, he's already rehearsing the fight choreographies (I posted the picture), he looks good, and the director/producers are showing a lot of love towards him building everything around his persona, with a lot of nostalgia martial artists, kinda The Expendables but with Seagal as the main character, plus the title/poster of the movie rocks...

Then we must expect a good one, perhaps is Seagal´s latest movie (as he said I'm a diplomat), so enjoy the process, they are making a beautiful martial arts movie!

Sounds great, looking forward to the movie! I hope you won't be using too many CGI effects? I often find them distracting.

Wow, okay. I mean if his fight scenes are even anywhere like Attrition it will be a solid movie.

IMDb lists Order of the Dragon as out of production and into post production now. That was quick if true...

Dear Film Friends,
I'm thrilled to share with you the plot of my new film "Order of the Dragon," featuring the legendary Steven Seagal. The demand has been overwhelming, and I know you're eager for a sneak peek! Alongside the synopsis, I'm excited to reveal eight additional first look images from the film.

Synopsis:
John Rico and Chang Lee are two professional hitmen who botch their latest assignment, resulting in Lee sustaining a shoulder injury. Their boss, Henry Wyatt, gives John one last chance: to eliminate Mason Ryker, the last remaining member and leader of the organization "Order of the Dragon."

John sets off for Belgrade, Serbia, where Ryker is hiding. Upon arrival, he encounters a myriad of dangers and challenges that test his resolve. As the clock ticks down, John must grapple with his growing doubts about whether his employer has been truthful about Ryker or if everything he’s been told was nothing but a lie. Adding to the tension, Henry sends a team of additional killers to Belgrade, led by the ruthless Commander Rouge, whose sole mission is to eliminate both John and Ryker.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and support! I can't wait for you all to experience "Order of the Dragon."

the.white.shark10 The first official banner for Order of the Dragon!!!!

Steven Seagal (Under Siege) returns to film after a six-year hiatus alongside Ron Smoorenburg (Jackie Chan's "Who Am I"), who, like Bren Foster in Life After Fighting, is playing the lead role for the first time. Ron Smoorenburg and Steven Seagal perform all their own fights without stunt doubles. The old-school, hand-to-hand combat fight scenes are exactly what fans of the 80s and 90s want to see, and that's exactly what we want to give them.

Steven Seagal and Ron Smoorenburg are supported by martial arts sensation Mark Stas (The Belgian Bruce Lee), and the legendary Mohammed Qissi (Tong Po from kickboxer), stuntman Dee Yoon (Matrix Resurrections, John Wick 4), who has the potential to become the new Jet Li, Viking Samurai (Last Kumite), Alex 'The White Shark' Pankine (A Man Worth Killing), legendary final boss Jean Marie Paris from the first Transporter movie, Michael Pare (Streets of Fire), German Playmate Alona Hertha, who will surprise all Steven Seagal fans with her scene, and Jenny Paris (C.L.E.A.N).

The film was directed by the new, up-and-coming director Vjekoslav Katusin( A Man Worth Killing), who has simply gotten better and better with every film and has delivered his absolute best film with this one. The good thing is that Katusin, who is a specialist in dialogue scenes and dramatic scenes, left the direction of the fight scenes to the absolute professionals Ron Smoorenburg, Andy Long Nguyen (was part of the Jackie Chan stunt team for several years), and Dee Yoon, who also edited the fight scenes. This resulted in perfect harmony.

We produced the film Order of the Dragon for action fans of the 80s and 90s. The screenplay was written especially for Ron Smoorenburg and Steven Seagal to showcase the beauty of aikido and martial arts with training scenes set to music by David Michel Frank (Above the Law, Hard to Kill, Out for Justice).

the.white.shark10 The return of Jackie Chan's legendary final boss from Who Am I

Ron Smoorenburg has the same fire at Order of the Dragon as Sylvester Stallone in the first Rocky film and Van Damme in Bloodsport. Ron Smoorenburg actually got his role in Order of the Dragon alongside Steven Seagal after giving us an interview for the Year of the Dragon edition of the martial arts classic Tom Yum Goong, and we immediately hit it off.

Ron Smoorenburg was not only the lead actor, but also the action director. He even prepared an entire portfolio for this film, in which he described every fight down to the smallest detail. He also trained for hours every day to be in perfect shape for the film, which enabled him to complete the entire shoot without the need for a stuntman.

If anyone comes along now and says Ron isn't a good actor, they'll be surprised later on, because Ron has taken a lot of acting lessons in recent years and is the perfect leading actor in Order of the Dragon and many other martial arts and action films.

We are very happy to have cast Ron, because without him and the team he brought us (Mark Stas, Dee Yoon and Andy Long Nguyen), it would not have been possible to produce such high-quality fight scenes in such a short shooting time.

The film is currently in post-production and we can't wait to show it to you.
