The synopsis for A Good Man is pretty much what I have come to expect from a straight-to-DVD Seagal movie. The same basic plot. But this is what I have always looked for in Steven’s movies. Just 90 minutes or so of basic escapism. I know what to expect, I know it’s bad for him in the beginning, then bad guy loses at the end. And loses BAD!
And I have always enjoyed that in his movies. It's why I've followed him all these years.
That being said, I've missed I think the last 2-3 or so movies he’s put out, but plan to catch up on now. To be honest, even though I’ve been an avid fan since the beginning of his career, owning almost all of his movies, I was beginning to find the last few almost unwatchable. One or two I had to walk away from, then went back to them. I always end up going back – I never give up on him. LOL
A lot of great comments in this thread that I agree with. I wouldn't think that Steven has that many offers nor many decision-making opportunities with those offers at this point. As a fan, I’m glad he’s still making the effort – although some have issues with the amount of that effort.
I like the sounds of A Good Man and look forward to it. Great job with the pics and the updates and the contact with Mr. Waxman!
